  1. Hi Navy. Are you doing well? I hope so. Probably this question have already been posted by someone but I'm not sure so I wanna ask you when do you think Rihanna will release her new album? She said that we won't wait anymore so much time for a new album! Maybe this question could seem trivial, but even if it's only a year since Rihanna released Anti I already wanna #R9. What do you think about it?
  2. Hi Navy! How are you doing? Hope well. Anyway, I was thinking about something. Can you imagine a hypothetic Navy Meeting... I mean a great meeting where a lot of Navy can meet each other and talk about our Queen Rih or anything else. What do u think? I know it would be so hard to join it for most of us (economic reasons ect) but I think it would be a great thing, If I'm not wrong, a couple years ago people were talking about a Global Navy Meeting in London... Anyway it was just my thought... What do you think? Lemme know.
  3. Hi Navy, how are you doing? I hope well. Still can't believe Anti will be one year old this weekend... Anyway I don't wanna talk about Anti, I just wanna know what do you think about the last frequent travels that Rihanna is doing. I mean, if we only consider this last 3 weeks, Rihanna has been spotted in London, Ny and Paris. And few hours ago she has been spotted at NY airport again... What do you think she's gonna do? My first thought was she's recording #R9 secretly in cities like Paris or London fot not being spotted, even because she came back to NY just to join WomensMarch and to film Oceans 8... It could be possible since during her last short stay in Paris she hasn't been spotted? What do you think?

    #R9

What are your thoughts about #R9? When will it be released? #ineednewmusicfromher
  5. #R9

Updates and thoughts about R9 here! I think Rihanna will be having a couple of movies next year. If she's doing the documentary next year she should release that with like a greatest hits album or a tour live album maybe with a few new songs? Then lay low and do FentyxPuma and then late 2018 release an album and tour in 2019. She probs wont do that but that would be ideal for me.
  6. It's almost over, Navy! This Tuesday (August 16), the last full ANTI World Tour show took place in Berlin, Germany. By full we mean that her upcoming shows are part of festivals or events, as you can find at rihannanow.com/tour. Rihanna took some time to thank her crew during the show. Also, her Snapchat (rihanna) is updated with lots of videos, so make sure to watch them all -- or find them here in case you're late. We're sure going to miss the tour! 8. Yesterday, the latest movie in the Ocean’s franchise began filming in NYC, and we’re already starting to get details about what and where they’ll be shooting! Ocean’s Eight, which we’ve confirmed is filming under the working title Linus, will follow a team of female thieves working together to steal a necklace from the Met Ball and frame a crooked gallery owner for the crime. The film, which is reportedly, “an extension and a continuation” of the Ocean’s trilogy, will have an all-star cast including Sandra Bullock, Sarah Paulson, Helena Bonham Carter, Anne Hathaway, Cate Blanchett, Mindy Kaling, Rihanna and Awkwafina. Sandra Bullock’s character will provide the tie in to the original movies as she is said to be the sister of the Ocean’s character, Danny Ocean (George Clooney). Steven Soderbergh and George Clooney are producing Ocean’s Eight, while Gary Ross directs. Ocean’s Eight is expected to hit theaters on June 8, 2018. According to casting calls, the movie is filming in Brooklyn today, 10/20 and tomorrow, 10/21. Also, according to filming notices, on Tuesday, 10/25, Ocean’s Eight will be filming on 80th St between Madison and 5th Aves in NYC. Source: OnLocationNews Can't wait to see Rihanna in another film! Rumour has it there will be a MET Gala scene included so it's about to be LIT.

  13. It’s official: Lady Gaga is playing the Super Bowl. The pop star will headline the halftime show at Super Bowl 51 early next year, NFLand halftime sponsor Pepsi announced on Thursday ahead of a game between theMiami Dolphins and Cincinnati Bengals. The reveal comes weeks after reports surfaced that the singer, who is gearing up to release a new album next month, was in talks for the gig. She performed at this year’s game as well, opening the event with a Broadway-worthy rendition of the national anthem. Speculation of who the NFL was eyeing for the gig heated up over the summer after Adele told fans during one of her sold-out shows at Staples Center that she had turned down the offer. (Since this is a news that might require a separate conversation as it's a big event, and there's no fanbase yet I'm posting this separately)
  14. Now that it's been a few days since the FENTYXPUMA SS 17 collection was shown in PaRih, the world is abuzz about our legendary fave's creations. Here's a compilation of all the reviews. COMPLEX MAGAZINE: What Every Celebrity Designer can learn from Rihanna and Puma. Yesterday, Rihanna presented her Spring 2017 Fenty x Puma collection during Paris Fashion Week at the Hôtel Salomon de Rothschild. Models walked down the runway in silk dresses, a chinoiserie romper suit, durag-like headpieces, corsets, a parka that was trimmed in ruffles, hoodies with super long sleeves, lace up sweatpants, creeper-soled boots, and stiletto mules in white, pink, green, and lilac hues. Unlike other celebrity fashion lines in the past, Rihanna's second collection was actually different from the first. It was also daring, though not revolutionary. Still, Rihanna has figured out the formula for what celebrity fashion lines should be: Make something that’s an extension of you. The beauty of Rihanna, and the projects she works on, is that every endeavor—music, fashion, or otherwise—is a direct reflection of her. It’s clear that she’s hands-on (the Tidal stream showed her prepping for the show and helping style models during the walkthrough) and it’s her vision that’s being executed. If you’ve kept up with the singer’s style, you’d know she has worn pieces similar to what was presented during the Spring 2017 runway show (she’s a big endorser of wearing sleepwear outside of her bedroom). Perhaps that’s why it felt like both male and female models were, in some bizarre way, transformed into the singer—one male model even wore a pink crop top. They were dressed like her and walked with her attitude. Plenty of artists have collaborated with brands and “designed” clothing lines before. But Rihanna approaches her collection differently. She didn’t just slap her name on Puma suede sneakers or a hoodie. She signed a deal with Puma in 2014 that clearly gave her creative input, and designed two full collections that are quite a leap from what the sportswear brand is accustomed to— and were still true to herself and her sense of style. Wearing a piece of Fenty x Puma is like owning a piece of Rihanna. And isn’t that the point?

  16. New York, September 23, 2016 - Rihanna is to join a campaign to ensure that girls and boys in the world’s poorest countries can get a quality education. Rihanna’s Clara Lionel Foundation today announced a multi-year partnership with the Global Partnership for Education (GPE) and international advocacy group Global Citizen. The partnership will advocate for the rights of the over quarter of a billion children and young people who are not in school today and an estimated 330 million who are in school but not learning. Operating across more than 60 developing countries to ensure that every child receives a quality education, the partnership will prioritize the poorest and most vulnerable, including girls and children affected by conflict and crisis. In her new role as GPE Global Ambassador, Rihanna will encourage world leaders and policymakers to boost their support for global education and education in emergencies through the Global Partnership for Education, the only global organization focused exclusively on improving education in the world’s poorest countries. The announcement comes the same week as a group of influential leaders from all continents called on the world to invest more and better in education, particularly in the world’s poorest countries. The report of the International Commission on Financing Global Education Opportunity presents compelling new data and analysis and makes the case for urgent action to ensure education is the foundation for a world that is prosperous, peaceful, equitable and future-ready. Speaking of the partnership, Rihanna said, “I feel strongly that all children everywhere should be afforded the opportunity of a quality education. Therefore I’m proud to announce Clara Lionel Foundation’s partnership with education advocacy leaders like the Global Partnership for Education and Global Citizen. Working together, I know we can amplify our efforts and ensure that millions of children gain access to education globally." GPE Chair and former Prime Minister of Australia, Julia Gillard, said, “We are thrilled that Rihanna is joining GPE as Global Ambassador to campaign for every child to be able to experience the power of a quality education. We have a once in a generation opportunity to build the commitment of world leaders to education, and Rihanna’s voice and travels to countries where GPE is actively engaged, will be hugely influential in improving the lives of girls and boys everywhere.” Hugh Evans, CEO of Global Citizen said, “Achieving a future free of extreme poverty starts with education. In creating this partnership we bring together three complementary parties, Global Citizen will drive the advocacy and movement building efforts, Rihanna, whose reach as one of the greatest artists of our generation will amplify this essential work, and the Global Partnership for Education will campaign governments around the world to effect real change. By coming together, our organizations will have an impact for generations to come."

  18. Rihanna rules Dance Club Songs for a 26th time, as "Kiss It Better" nuzzles up to No. 1 on the Aug. 6-dated chart. Only Madonna, with 46 leaders in the chart's nearly 40-year history, has notched more. “Kiss It Better” is Rihanna’s third No. 1 in 2016 – no other act has logged more than one this year. She topped the April 23 list with "Work,” featuring Drake, and followed with two more frames on top (July 9 and 16) as the featured act on Calvin Harris' "This Is What You Came For." "Kiss," remixed by R3hab, Feenixpawl and Four Tet, among others, is one of two Rihanna songs concurrently in the top three, as it joins her own “Needed Me” at No. 3. Rihanna is the first lead act to have two songs concurrently in the top three, and only the second overall to manage the feat. The first artist to do it was Kylie Minogue on the March 5, 2011-dated tally, with her own “Better Than Today” at No. 1, and her featured role on Taio Cruz’s “Higher” at No. 3. Further, Rihanna has another song in the top 10 (“This Is What You Came For,” at No. 10), giving her three simultaneous tracks in the region for a second consecutive week. Rihanna herself was the last act to earn three concurrent top 10 hits, back on the March 5, 2011 list (“S&M” was No. 4 and “What’s My Name” was No. 10, while she was featured on David Guetta’s “Who’s That Chick” at No. 8).
