REB’L FLEUR (2011)
Reb’l Fleur is an intense and daring fruity chypre, composed of sophisticated floral notes: tuberose, violet and hibiscus, – with a splash of coconut water, – over the light and smooth base, the combination of the final notes evokes the impression of warm skin. The perfume was created by Caroline Sabas and Marypierre Julien of Givaudan.
The elegant bottle, which glows from within, is beautifully designed in the shape of a high heel. The bottle is adorned with silken ribbons and an golden ring on the stopper. Reb’l Fleur was launched in early 2011.
“My grandmother in Barbados used to call me her Rebel Flower, over the years, I layered many different scents to get something that was truly my own. But I wanted…something that said ‘Rihanna was here.’ Something delicious and special, a fragrance with subtle hints that linger and leave a sexy memory.”
Rihanna made an in-store appearance at the Macy’s Department Store in Lakewood, California, for the official launch of Reb’l Fleur in February 2011, as you can see here.
Rebelle arrived on the market in spring 2012 as a fruity-floral with strong gourmand chords. Top notes encompass plum, strawberry and ginger; a heart offers heliotrope, vanilla orchid and cocoa absolute, while a base features a trail of musk, coffee, patchouli and amber.
The fragrance was available in a flacon shaped like the previous year’s edition, created of transparent glass and red and gold surfaces.
Rihanna described the fragrance, as having a “feminine romantic element,” while maintaining a “defiant quality.” She added, “my new fragrance is about taking control but still being a lady.”
Nude by Rihanna, launched in November 2012, is a sweet floral – fruity fragrance with a vanilla background. With its woody and skin musky notes, the fragrance transmits intimacy and a feeling of bare skin and nakedness.
Fruity aromas of guava, mandarin and pear are located at the opening of the composition. The heart is blended out of white flowers: gardenia petals, velvety Sambac jasmine and creamy orange blossom. The base consists of sandalwood, vanilla orchid and “second skin” musk.
Rihanna launched the perfume at Macy’s in December 2012, as seen here. Speaking of her third fragrance, Rihanna told Women’s Wear Daily:
“When creating my first scent, Reb’l Fleur, I wanted it to be a really strong scent – daring and bold. I have gotten more personal with Nude.”
Rihanna’s fourth perfume was launched in September 2013. The fragrance is a flirtatious and sensual oriental, containing accords of lemon blossom, cyclamen, jasmine, rose, plum and suede over a base of musk, woods, patchouli, vanilla and amber.
“People are always changing and evolving and with Rogue I wanted to switch it up to reflect who I am today,” said Rihanna to wwd. “I made it for all women, for every mood, because we all want to project our true selves.”
Rihanna attended the launch of her fragrance in Barbados and in Sephora, Paris in June 2014.
Rogue was nominated for Celebrity Fragrance of the Year at the 2014 Fragrance Foundation awards.
ROGUE MAN (2014)
Rogue Man was the fifth overall fragrance and first men’s fragrance released by Rihanna. The fragrance was first available to purchase from Macy’s in October 2014.
The perfume was developed by Frank Voelkl as an oriental – woody. In the top notes there are bergamot, clementine, black pepper and rosemary. The heart consists of cedar, jasmine, vanilla orchid and labdanum, leaning on the base of sandalwood, patchouli, amber, musk and tonka bean.
ROGUE LOVE (2014)
Rogue Love, launched in December 2014, is a fragrance with freshness and floralcy that captures the moment when love first hits you.

It lines notes of juicy mandarin, red berries and velvety peach, followed by jasmine sambac combined with honeysuckle, orchid and coconut. The base blends soft and sensual vanilla with amber, creamy woody notes and caramel.
Rihanna’s 7th fragrance came out in September 2015. The scent opens with a strong, feminine burst of passion fruit, sparkling cassis, and Italian mandarin. Then, after a minute on the skin, it transforms into a musky, sandalwood-heavy scent with notes of vanilla.
