I was so thrilled cause I’m actually a huge fan. I actually bumped into her the other day. She was looking amazing… she looked so beautiful and we had like… cause she sent me this song and I said of course but we never actually manage to speak, of course we met before but we never managed to actually speak in person about it […] it’s a sample […] and it’s one of my favourite songs from Ceremonials. I love when stuff like that happens, when people reimagine your music and I love it when it has different form…

“Had so much fun designing for @Fendi’s 3Baguette charity project! Bid to support the Clara Lionel Foundation: http://3baguetteauction.fendi.com/ii/en/“, Rihanna tweeted.
Fendi has teamed with Rihanna, Sarah Jessica Parker, Rachel Feinstein, Jourdan Dunn and Leandra Medine on a new charity project that marked the official inauguration of the brand’s newest flagship on Madison Avenue in New York. Fendi has asked the five women to personalize their own 3Baguette handbag — a style launched at the end of last year that reinterprets the Fendi accessory with a more structured shape and the FF logo becoming a lock rather than simply a decorative element. Parker, Rihanna and Feinstein have also designed micro-baguette models. The bags were unveiled at the cocktail party at the new store hosted by Karl Lagerfeld, Silvia Venturini Fendi and chairman and chief executive officer Pietro Beccari. More details here.
Fendi presents the 3Baguette charity project in collaboration with five iconic New York women: musician Rihanna, artist Rachel Feinstein, actress Sarah Jessica Parker, model Jourdan Dunn and blogger Leandra Medine, who have been invited by Fendi to personalize their own 3Baguette bag, allowing for a completely unique and fully interpreted creation that will be auctioned to benefit five charities of their choosing.
The online auction starts on Feburary 13th and ends March 13th, 2015.
Chart-topping performing artist Rihanna infused her strong and distinctive style into her 3Baguette bag featuring a double F pattern on the flap and the back embroidered in black lurex on mink tone on tone. Sides and front are in black velvet. The croco handle creates a beautiful contrast to the velvet sides, while the black crystal stones give a luxurious touch to the closure made in ultra-black ruthenium.
Rihanna’s Micro Baguette is designed in gunmetal grey with beaded embroidery for a high-fashion aesthetic. With matching ultra-black ruthenium accessories, the bag is a perfect charm for Rihanna’s 3Baguette.
