Rihanna was seen arriving at Tokyo Narita airport few hours ago (Thursday evening local time). Rihanna will perform at one of the country’s biggest stadium events, called Summer Sonic, in Osaka and Tokyo in two days.

RiRi was spotted leaving her hotel earlier today (April 7) in Tokyo, Japan. She tweeted:

She’s now in Sydney for the Australian premiere of “Battleship”, on Tuesday (April 10).

RiRi was photographed shopping in Harajuku, Tokyo. She’s in Japan for the world premiere of “Battleship”, on April 3rd.

Rihanna touched down on Narita International Airport few hours ago! She’s going to promote her latest movie “Battleship” in Japan! On her arrival she was greeted by a group of fans that have been waiting for her with gifts. Rihanna managed to stop by them to sign some autographs.

On Tuesday, April 3, Universal Pictures will celebrate the world premiere of Battleship with a celebration in Tokyo. Director Peter Berg and Stars Taylor Kitsch, Rihanna, Brooklyn Decker, U.S. Army Col. Greg Gadson and Tadanobu Asano will join almost 5,000 fans at yoyogi National Gymnasium to celebrate the film’s global release.

“By hosting the world premiere of Battleship in Japan, we celebrate our countries’ shared love of epic adventures,” Berg said. “Our heroes—Lt. Hopper of the U.S. Navy and Capt. Nagata of the Japanese Maritime Self-Defense Forces—bring their crews together to battle an alien threat that emerges from the Pacific. We hope those coming to Yoyogi are as excited to see Battleship’s international sailors in action as we are to show our film on opening night.”

Rihanna will also be attending the Australian movie premiere on April 10.

Rihanna will appear on Japanese TV show Music Station on April 6th. The last time she was in Japan was in February 2010. She’s also listed as one of the performers at Summer Sonic Festival in Tokyo and Osaka (August 18-19).

Rihanna and Green Day are set to headline this year’s Summer Sonic music festival in Japan on August 18 & 19.

Sony explained for fans overseas that Summer Sonic “is a huge summer music festival in Tokyo and Osaka, Aug 18-19th this year.” They further stated that the festival goes on both August 18 and 19 in both cities, and that the artists switch around between the cities.

The last time Rihanna visited Japan was in February 2010, when she did a few photoshoots for Elle Girl Japan, Nylon and Exile.
