R’n'B superstar Rihanna has just been confirmed as the latest addition to Capitol Radio’s Jingle Bell Ball, taking place this December.

Held at the O2 Arena on Wednesday 10th December, the sold-out event will also feature performances from Anastacia, Pussycat Dolls, Sugababes, Boyzone, Will Young, Craig David and Lemar.

As has been reported before, Rihanna and Chris Brown are doing a tour by Australia and New Zealand which begins in late October and end in the first half of November.

Today, new dates were published in Rihanna’s official site, Rihannanow.com. Probably extra concerts are being marked by the success of sales of tickets.

They are in L.A currently rehearsing for the tour.

Conde Nast Media Group announced today that Ashanti, Carrie Underwood, Ciara, Fergie, Keyshia Cole, Leona Lewis, Mariah Carey, Mary J. Blige, Miley Cyrus, Rihanna, Natasha Bedingfield, and Sheryl Crow will join together on stage at Radio City Music Hall for the 5th Anniversary of FASHION ROCKS in a Live performance of “Just Stand Up,” the unprecedented charity single in support of Stand Up To Cancer (SU2C), a new initiative to raise philanthropic dollars for accelerating ground-breaking cancer research. The star-studded television premiere of the song will be fed live from the FASHION ROCKS stage to the Stand Up To Cancer’s special, which will be airing simultaneously on ABC, CBS, and NBC on Friday, September 5th. Proceeds from the FASHION ROCKS concert will also be donated to the charity.

Rihanna will also perform her hit singles “Take A Bow” and “If I Never See Your Face Again”.

FASHION ROCKS, a star-studded extravaganza celebrating the relationship between fashion and music, will air the following Tuesday night, September 9, 2008 in a two-hour special on the CBS television network, 9:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT.

Kanye West, Mary J Blige, Rihanna and Chris Brown will be kicking off America’s Independence Day celebrations in New Orleans, Louisiana next weekend (04-06Jul08) when they take to the stage at the 14th annual Essence Music Festival.

The 2008 Essence Music Festival will resonate with the sound of its host city.

The festival has augmented its main stage roster with the Essence debut of Rihanna, the Barbados-born singer whose “Umbrella” ranked among 2007’s biggest hits; R&B diva Keyshia Cole; neo-soul singer Musiq; and rapper LL Cool J.

They join previously announced Essence headliners Kanye West and Chris Brown, performing on Friday, July 4.
