Rihanna’s song “Towards The Sun”, the first single from the upcoming “Home” soundtrack, is out now!
Home is an upcoming American 3D computer-animated comedy based on the 2007 Adam Rex’s children’s book The True Meaning of Smekday staring Jim Parsons, Rihanna, Jennifer Lopez, and Steve Martin. Coming to theatres on March 27th!
“When Earth is taken over by the overly-confident Boov, an alien race in search of a new place to call home, all humans are promptly relocated, while all Boov get busy reorganizing the planet. But when one resourceful girl, Tip, (Rihanna) manages to avoid capture, she finds herself the accidental accomplice of a banished Boov named Oh (Jim Parsons). The two fugitives realize there’s a lot more at stake than intergalactic relations as they embark on the road trip of a lifetime. HOME will feature the voice talents of Rihanna, Jim Parsons, Steve Martin and Jennifer Lopez and will screen in 3D.”

I was so thrilled cause I’m actually a huge fan. I actually bumped into her the other day. She was looking amazing… she looked so beautiful and we had like… cause she sent me this song and I said of course but we never actually manage to speak, of course we met before but we never managed to actually speak in person about it […] it’s a sample […] and it’s one of my favourite songs from Ceremonials. I love when stuff like that happens, when people reimagine your music and I love it when it has different form…

Stop whatever you’ve been doing! Rihanna has just released a brand new song with Kanye West and Paul McCartney called “FourFiveSeconds”!
The song, off Ri’s forthcoming eighth studio album, is a departure from 2012’s Unaplogetic. A plucky acoustic guitar complements Rihanna’s vocals. “I think I’ve had enough/ Might get a little drunk/ I say what’s on my mind/ I might do a little time,” she sings on the opening lines of the track. “Cause all of my kindness/ Is taken for weakness.”
For Kanye’s part, he sings, “Woke up an optimist/ Sun was shining, I’m positive/ Then I heard you was talking trash/ Hold me back/ I’m about to spazz.”
Later, on the chorus, Kanye and Rihanna harmonize together, “Now I’m four, five seconds from wildin’/ And we got three more days ’till Friday/ I’m just tyring to make it back home by Monday morning.”

Ne-Yo has opened up about his recording sessions with Rihanna for her new album. The R&B singer and producer explained that while he’s unsure whether any of the tracks they’ve worked on together will make the final album, what he’s heard from the collection so far sounds “unlike anything else”.
“I’m doing lots of songwriting – that will never go away,” he told OfficialCharts.com “I’ve been focusing on a lot of new artists at the moment as opposed to established ones. That said, I did a few sessions with Rihanna not so long ago. We did some stuff for the R8 album. I don’t know what’s going to be kept and I don’t know what’s going to happen with it, but we definitely did a few sessions together.”Asked when can expect to hear the album, he said: “She’s enjoying life, man! She deserves it. The album will come out – it’ll be out soon enough. I personally feel like when it comes out, people will forget about how long the wait was. It’ll definitely be worth the wait. What I’ve heard so far sounds unlike anything else. It’s coming!”
Rihanna and Ne-Yo have previously collaborated on 2007’s “Hate That I Love You”, which peaked at Number 15 on the Official Singles Chart. The star has also penned Rihanna’s Top 10 singles “Unfaithful”, “Russian Roulette” and Number 1 single “Take A Bow”.
