rihannachrisbrown Rihanna and Chris Brown are, once again, making music together.

On the heels of their recent collaboration, “Nobodies Business,” a rep for Breezy tells E! News that the two are indeed currently working on another single.

Which certainly explains why the duo was spotted leaving, albeit separately, from a recording studio in West Hollywood on Thursday night.

This will be the fourth* collaboration for Rihanna and Brown.

In addition to “Nobodies Business,” a track on the Barbadian beauty’s latest album, Unapologetic, they also joined forces nearly a year ago on remixes of Rihanna’s “Birthday Cake” and Brown’s “Turn Up the Music.”

UPDATE: Rihanna has denited it.

Mikky Ekko is currently enjoying his first taste of chart success, having hit the UK charts alongside Rihanna on the track he wrote. However, he admits that he was initially ‘freaked out’ when he heard that she had recorded the track, because the track had such personal meanings to him.

“The track had become so special to me as well, and knowing what the track means to me and what I think it means to her too, it really worked,” Ekko tells Gigwise. “It speaks to such an intimate side of her that is so rare and so far removed from what people think of her. I met up with some of her people in LA. She came out, we met, we hugged and talked for a minute about the song, she said ‘oh, just so you know I’ve cut the vocal,’ and I was like ‘WHOA!’ and of course I said ‘that’s no problem’ – even though I was a little freaking out.”

RiRi Scores Double Domination Atop Billboard 200, Hot 100

As Rihanna soaks in the success of “Unapologetic,” which, as previously reported, becomes her first Billboard 200 No. 1 album, bowing with 238,000 copies sold, according to Nielsen SoundScan, she maintains her No. 1 ranking on the Billboard Hot 100 for a second week with the set’s lead single, “Diamonds.”

Rihanna is just the second artist this year to lead both of Billboard’s signature album and song rankings simultaneously. Adele doubled up atop the tallies, respectively, the weeks of Feb. 4 and 11 with “21″ and the set’s third Hot 100 No. 1, “Set Fire to the Rain.”

Diamonds” shines again atop the Hot 100, fueled prominently by its 8% gain on the Hot 100 Airplay chart, where it holds at No. 2 with 126 million all-format audience impressions, according to Nielsen BDS. It tallies a third week atop On-Demand Songs with 1.08 million on-demand streams (up 3%) (and 1.24 million overall streams), according to BDS. “Diamonds” dips 1-2 on Hot Digital Songs, although it increases by 3% to 176,000 downloads sold, according to SoundScan.

Diamonds” (atop Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs for an eighth week) handily wins the race to No. 1 on the Hot 100, leading Ke$ha’s “Die Young” (3-2) by approximately 5,000 chart points. “Diamonds” gains by 5% in overall points, while “Young” surges by 7%. The latter title pushes 5-3 on Hot 100 Airplay (115 million, up 7%), while remaining at No. 4 on Hot Digital Songs (151,000, up 14%) and slipping 2-3 on On-Demand Songs (870,000, down 4%).

“Unapologetic” debuts at No.1 in the U.S.

One week after Rihanna scored her 12th No. 1 single on the Billboard Hot 100 chart with “Diamonds,” the diva earns her very first No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 chart.

Her latest release, “Unapologetic,” opens atop the Billboard 200, selling 238,000 copies in its first week, according to Nielsen SoundScan. The SRP/Def Jam set is her seventh studio release in a little over seven years and follows six earlier top 10 efforts. Rather infamously, until this week, Rihanna held the distinction of having the most No. 1 songs on the Hot 100 without having claimed a No. 1 album.

Unapologetic,” released on Nov. 19, also gives Rihanna her best sales week yet for an album. (The SoundScan tracking week ends at the close of business every Sunday.) The new album’s arrival surpasses her previous best frame, racked when 2010′s “Loud” launched at No. 3 with 207,000.

Rihanna’s first release, “Music of the Sun,” debuted and peaked at No. 10 in 2005, followed by “A Girl Like Me” (No. 5, 2006), “Good Girl Gone Bad” (No. 2, 2007), “Rated R” (No. 4, 2009), “Loud” (No. 3, 2010) and “Talk That Talk” (No. 3, 2011). Additionally, she has charted with two remix albums “Good Girl Gone Bad: The Remixes” (No. 106, 2009) and “Rated R: Remixed” (No. 158, 2010).

It’s not unprecedented for an artist to score six top 10 albums without having had a No. 1. More than 25 acts have lodged six top 10s — without a No. 1. They range from Sting (10 top 10s, zero No. 1s) and Sheryl Crow (eight top 10s) to Brad Paisley (seven top 10s) and Rush (12 top 10s).

Rihanna’s lack of a No. 1 album only seemed to draw more attention, perhaps compared to her consistent performance as a singles artist. Since her arrival in 2005, she has tallied 12 No. 1 songs on the Billboard Hot 100 — tying her for the fourth-most of all time with Madonna and the Supremes. Only the Beatles (with 20), Mariah Carey (18) and Michael Jackson (13) have had more.

“Unapologetic” debuts at No. 1 in the UK

Rihanna makes it a staggering three Number 1 albums in three years as “Unapologetic” follows in the footsteps of last year’s “Talk That Talk” and 2010’s “Loud” by going all the way to the top of the Official Albums Chart with UK sales of almost 100,000 copies this week.

Congratulations to RiRi who has now equalled Queen of Pop Madonna’s chart record for female artist with the most consecutive Number 1 albums. They share this achievement with fellow solo artists Eva Cassidy, Susan Boyle and Norah Jones.

Unapologetic” is Rihanna’s fourth Number 1 album overall (her third album, Good Girl Gone Bad, also peaked at Number 1 back in 2007), and completes an amazing 12 months for the Bajan superstar. In the UK alone, she’s sold over three million singles, and has become the second biggest selling female singles artist of all time (behind Madonna). And she’s still only 24!

RiRi tweeted:

#UNAPOLOGETIC has debuted at number 1 here in the UK!!! Thank you guys for owning shit this week!!

The album is also expected to debut at No. 1 in the United States. We will find out in a few days!

Rihanna’s Unapologetic leads UK’s Official Albums Chart race

Rihanna is on course for her third consecutive Number 1 album in as many years with Unapologetic, according to today’s Official Albums Chart Update.

Rihanna’s seventh full-length, Unapologetic, looks set to follow in the footsteps of 2010’s Loud and 2011’s Talk That Talk, which both peaked at Number 1 on the Official Albums Chart. If it can maintain its lead through to Sunday, Unapologetic will be Rihanna’s fourth Official Number 1 album overall (her third album, Good Girl Gone Bad, also peaked at Number 1 back in 2007).

It’s been an amazing 12 months for the Bajan superstar. In the UK alone, she’s sold over three million singles, and has become the second biggest selling female singles artist of all time (behind Madonna). And she’s still only 24!

This week’s second highest new entry is Led Zeppelin’s live album, Celebration Day (Number 2). Recorded at the band’s tribute concert to late Atlantic Records president Ahmet Ertegun at London’s O2 Arena in December, 2007, Celebration Day captures the magic of frontman Robert Plant, guitarist Jimmy Page, and bassist John Paul Jones performing live together for the first time since the death of drummer John Bonham in 1980. Drumming duties at the reunion concert were provided by Bonham’s son, Jason.
