Chase & Status have revealed that they could feature on Rihanna’s next album. The duo said that they recently met up with her to discuss producing songs for her next studio LP.

Will Kennard said: “We hope so. We saw her recently and caught up with her at the O2 a few months ago and we talked about it then. She’s always looking to write on interesting sides of music. It’s just finding the time really, we’re still artists as well as producers.”

Chase & Status previously collaborated with Rihanna on 2009′s “Rated R” and her latest record “Talk That Talk”.

After leaving Brazil on Saturday night, Rihanna was photographed today on the set of her new music video in County Down, Northern Ireland. She tweeted:

I’m shooting a video in 2 #beatDAT RT @Faiz_Fenty: @rihanna ROBYN! I cant sleep. Its 3:36am, I gotta be up in like. 4 hours :( sing me a song!

Direcor Melina Matsoukas can be seen in a few pictures. She has previously worked with Rihanna in “S&M”, “Rockstar 101″, “Rude Boy” and “Hard”.

Some of your already heard rumours, some of you still didn’t believe. Now Rihanna decided to use her Twitter again to confirm that she is working on her 6th, brand new album! And we might get it sooner than you expect.

Rihanna will have a busy schedule in the next few months since she’s starting another world tour (begins this Saturday in Brazil). But still she wants to bring her fans some new music. We’re looking forward to hear it!

After finding success crafting the music for Rihanna’s “Man Down,” the production duo known as the Jugganauts — Sham “Sak Pase” Joseph and Verse Simmonds — are looking to recapture the magic on the Bajan beauty’s upcoming sixth album.

“From what I understand, she is closing the album up now, and we did two records for her that she really, really loved and I’m really excited about them as well,” Simmonds told Mixtape Daily. “They are records that we wrote and produced as the Jugganauts.”

Simmonds is hoping that he and partner Sak Pase land another track on Rihanna’s album. And while he couldn’t confirm the Jugganauts’ contributions will make the final cut, he said was “99.999 percent” certain for now. For those wondering whether the singer’s new tunes will sound anything like the reggae-infused “Man Down,” Simmonds says no.

“Nah, definitely not, because we always try to constantly — as producers, as artists — we try to always come with something different, a whole new sound,” he said without elaborating on what that new record would sound like.

There have been whispers that Rihanna is already working on her next album. Now Ryan Seacrest confirms reports that the red-haired diva is back in the lab with a new project due later this year.

RiRi, who is currently making her way around the country on her “LOUD” tour, has plans to release her sixth album this fall. It would come as no surprise as she has put out five albums in the past five years, with her most recent project LOUD still spawning hit singles.

Seacrest spoke with the singer’s camp and made the announcement on his KIIS FM radio show. “We can confirm that Rihanna is currently working on material and will release a brand new album this fall,” he said.

Singer-songwriter Kevin Rudolf previously told Rap-Up.com that he has been submitting material for the as-yet-untitled project. “[I'm] writing some stuff for Rihanna right now,” he said. “I hear she’s back at it.”
