An all-star line up unveiled for the 80th anniversary show on BBC ONE. A host of celebrities and artists from the worlds of music, comedy and theatre come together for the annual highlight of the showbiz calendar, the Royal Variety Performance. Celebrating its 80th anniversary, this year’s show will be returning to the iconic London Palladium on Thursday 11th December 2008 to be performed in the presence of Their Royal Highnesses, The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall.

Rihanna will be the special guest host at Z100’s Jingle Ball on December 12th, in New York. Chris Brown, Katy Perry, Ne-Yo, Leona Lewis, Paramore, David Archuleta, Jesse McCartney, Lady Gaga and Brandy will also perform.

“Umbrella” hitmaker Rihanna, multi-platinum rapper T.I. and “American Idol” runner-up David Archuleta are among the acts playing KDWB’s annual Jingle Ball, booked for Dec. 15 at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul.

Tickets are $103.30, $57, $37 and $17 and go on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday through Ticketmaster.

The chart-topping singer Leona Lewis was all smiles after filming the ITV special Divas II last night, with the Sugababes, Anastasia and Dionne Warwick.

And she seemed to be as down-to-earth as ever, stopping to meet fans and sign autographs.

Leona, who was kitted out in cosy clothing, is also joined by Rihanna, Pink and Gabriella Cilmi on the show.

An insider who saw the programme being filmed said: “It was an electric atmosphere with some amazing performances and it was quite emotional too.”

Divas II is due to air on Sunday, November 23.
