BRIT Awards has announced that Rihanna will perform at this year’s show on February 21 (just one day after her birthday) at the O2 Arena. Earlier this year, Rihanna has said that she would love to perform “Princess Of China” with Coldplay at the show, hopefully it will work out!
Rihanna is also nominated for the International Female Female Solo Artist award!

Rihanna proved to be the star of the show according to Capital FM fans following her headline performance at tonight’s (3rd December) Jingle Bell Ball. No one seemed disappointed as the audience expressed their love for the ‘We Found Love’ singer as they left the venue. Read some of the fans comments at CapitalFM’s website here.

Rihanna performed an explosive set as she headlined day one of Capital FM’s Jingle Bell Ball 2011 in London this evening (3rd December).
The Bajan star took to the O2 arena stage sporting her new blonde hair style and was dressed in a short white t shirt, denim hot pants and chequered loose skirt.
RiRi opened with an impressive version of ‘Only Girl (In The World)’ , in which she screamed “come on Jingle Bell Ball” and swaggered around the stage.
The Loud’ singer then gave a saucy rendition of her January 2011 single ‘S&M’, before heading straight into Drake collaboration ‘What’s My Name?’
After leading the Jingle Bell Ball audience through the critically acclaimed single, Rihanna then took things down a level with a stripped back rendition of ballad ‘California King Bed’ .
“Thank you London for letting me rock out. Thank you Capital,” she shouted, before leading into her final performance of the evening and telling the crowd, “If you know the words sing along”.
The O2 Arena all stood in unison as Rihanna launched into the opening lines of recent chart-topper ‘We Found Love’ , with the audience enthusiastically jumping up and down as the Calvin Harris produced track broke into full flow.
The audience was showered with an explosion of confetti and streamers as Rihanna bowed out from the stage, bringing an end to the first night of Capital’s Jingle Ball Ball 2011.

Rihanna performed “We Found Love” twice after the show. The key difference between the two performances was her post-song interview with host Steve Jones. After the first performance, Jones asked Rihanna, who’s worked with L.A. Reid in the past, if the judge is really “that cruel” in person. Rihanna replied, “He’s doesn’t hide anything.” Jones chuckled, “So he really is that cruel!” After the bit was over, Simon signaled over to Jones and a stagehand. The trio huddled for a moment and, before you knew it, Bill had informed us that we were going to film the whole shebang a second time.
After the second performance, Jones instead asked Rihanna to give some advice to the show’s singers. “You have to love what you do,” she responded. I’m not sure which interview you’ll be seeing Thursday night, but my money’s on the latter, less L.A.-hating version.
