Yesterday Rihanna asked her Twitter followers to help pick third release from her latest album ‘Talk That Talk’. The ‘You Da One’ star has emulated a similar idea she did in March when she got her fans to choose the next single from her ‘Loud’ album.

“I need answers!!!! #NEXTSINGLE #TTT ,” she tweeted.

Soon the Twitter’s “Trending Topics” were taken over by Rihanna Navy suggesting which song should be the next single.  Rihanna followed an hour later by news that she had made her decision due to an overwhelming response.

“Ok DONE!!!! I like what I see … and decisions are MADE!!! #NEXTSINGLE,” she added.

Rihanna was pleased with the suggestions and identified that she was thinking the same as many of her fans.

2011 was one of the greatest years in Rihanna’s career. Not only she took over charts all around the world but she’s also captured the hearts of the ad world, who voted her sizzling adverts for Armani Underwear the sexiest of 2011.
Thedaring display was hailed the best of the year in a poll of advertising industry chiefs carried out by U.S. magazine Advertising Age.

The magazine rhapsodised about the We Found Love singer, saying she had never looked better.
‘It’s Rihanna at her sexiest. She’s never looked this good,’ they said, adding: ‘She’s in amazing shape and the pictures are stunning.’

  • Rihanna, who recently reached 11 million Twitter followers, tweeted: “I’m gonna release “The Making of TTT” soon! I love it! The edit’s almost 100%….I think you’re gonna love it too. (…) Makin of TTT the album!Lol,not song. However Im not sure how soon ;)”
  • MTV names Rihanna one of the hardest working pop stars of 2011: Three years, three albums: That’s the kind of frenetic rate that Rihanna has been working at since she left Chris Brown in 2009. Just this year alone, Rihanna has released six (!) singles: “S&M,” “California King Bed,” “Man Down,” “Cheers (Drink to That),” “We Found Love” and her latest single, “You Da One.” Rihanna also found time to guest on tracks by Kanye (“All of the Lights”), Nicki Minaj (“Fly”), Drake (“Take Care”) and more surprising artists like Coldplay (“Princess of China”) and the Lonely Island (“Shy Ronnie 2: Ronnie & Clyde”). We got tired just by typing all that out! Keep in mind that Rihanna cranked out all of that while also taking her Loud tour to over 20 countries for 100 dates. The amazing thing is that 2012 looks to be just as crazy, as she continues to promote Talk That Talk and preps for the release of her feature film debut, “Battleship.”
  • Pop legend Cliff Richard wants to sing with Rihanna: Sir Cliff, 71 (we always forget this information and it surprises us everytime), has collaborated with stars such as Sir Elton John in the past, but said he really fancies warbling with a modern pop diva. Sir Cliff said: “Somebody asked me if I’d like to sing with Rihanna and I thought ‘Who wouldn’t?’ She looks fantastic, she’s got a great voice, but in the case of duets, if it’s feasible, it’s always a matter of what the song is. If we both like the song, that’s the best way to do a duet. I couldn’t just say, ‘yes, I’ll come’, and then sing some dance thing I don’t like.”

To Drake, Take Care is the story of a kid who goes from wide-eyed Toronto dreamer to rap royalty. But while Drizzy has painted that picture through songs on his sophomore set, the Young Money star hopes to roll out more visuals in support of the album’s narrative, and he has big plans for one video in particular.

We’ve already seen “Marvins Room” and “Headlines,” the Lil Wayne-assisted “The Motto” is already in the can, and when MTV News caught up with him backstage at the Power 106 Cali Christmas Concert, Drizzy Drake revealed he’s set to shoot a clip for the title track with Rihanna.

“It’s a project where I think visuals are called for, for a lot of those records,” he said. “So we’re working on definitely the ‘Take Care’ video, which we’re trying to get shot soon and a couple of other ones, too, off the album.”

Drake, who can now hoist another platinum plaque for Take Care, wouldn’t dish on the treatment or concept for the video, but he has high expectations for it. + Continue reading…

“That Rihanna reign just don’t let up”, a prophecy that holds truer than ever as we reflect on the last year in the superstar’s record-breaking career. 2011 saw Rihanna continuing to sell millions upon millions of albums, receiving a flurry of prestigious awards, dominating the airwaves with her smash singles, gracing covers of magazines around the world, embarking on a massive international tour spanning over a hundred cities, lending her iconic brand to several billion dollar cooperation campaigns, and still managing to find time to record yet another album filled with a collection of songs that have Rihanna fans gitty with excitement as to what 2012 can only bring. Rihanna has become the rare form of pop star that has managed the seemingly impossible act of, not only maintaining, expanding her popularity and quality as the years of her reign accumulate.

Loud sold over 6,000,000 copies internationally propelled by it’s string of smash singles, acclaimed promotional performances, and critical praise. It is, to date, Rihanna’s fastest selling album to reach that sales bracket and the second best seller, of any artist, since it’s release. However, Rihanna was not about to milk the success dry from the project, and announced mid-year that she was working on her follow-up already. Talk That Talk was released worldwide in late November to an opening of over 500,000 copies sold — easily clearing her career biggest launch. Following, just two weeks later, Talk That Talk continued to break Rihanna records by becoming her fastest album to shift over a 1,000,000 units. Having sold a career total of over 26,000,000 albums bodes well with her retaining her lead as the most successful album’s artist since her debut over half a decade ago.

It’s hard to keep up with Rihanna’s ever-changing hair color and wardrobe, but one thing that will be sticking around for at least the next 10 days is her manicure.

While in Milan last week, the chart-topping singer got her nails done by CND VIP manicurist for Milan’s Ladybird House Flavia Pitton, who used CND Retention+ Liquid and CND Retention+ Powder to build up a strong base on her nails, then topped it off with CND Shellac in Black Pool — a creamy, jet-black shade.

“I love the easy application and the ‘just like polish’ appeal that make CND Shellac’d nails always so chic, even when you go for a trendy design,” Pitton tells Us Weekly.
