As we’ve mentioned before Rihanna is releasing her second perfume and this time it’s called “Rebelle by Rihanna”.

Fly girls get ready, this fragrance promises to entice and entrance all who get within smelling distance with its raw and edgy scent.

“My new fragrance is about taking control but still being a lady. There’s a feminine, romantic element to the fragrance — but there’s also a defiant quality in it,” Rihanna explains in lit for the product, “I love its duality.”

The marketing campaign will aim to capture both her dramatic and daring side while not sacrificing the singer’s innate vulnerability. Shot by renowned music video director, Anthony Mandler, one ad you’ll surely see is meant to empower not only women but men as well.

Rebelle by Rihanna is scheduled to hit department stores around Spring 2012.

• According to Fragrantica.com, Rihanna’s second fragrance is called “Rebelle” and will be launched in 2012.

“Rebelle by Rihanna is a Floral Fruity Gourmand fragrance for women. Top notes are ploom, strawberry and ginger; middle notes are heliotrope, cacao and orchid; base notes are musk, patchouli, amber and coffee.”

• Austingirlmusicguide.com listened to Coldplay’s “Princess of China” feat. Rihanna and said:

“Among the remaining tracks, the one I was looking forward to most was the highly anticipated Rihanna-guesting “Princess of China.” Despite all the fretting/assumptions about it, I feel it is truly a standout track, the centerpiece of the album. This is probably the only other place on Mylo Xyloto where any sort of hip-hop influences emerge, but it’s done in an even more subtle way than “Paradise.” Rihanna sounds totally different here, unlike anything she’s done, and the combination of her voice with Martin’s is surprising in the best way possible. I think the feeling was mutual around the room; people applauded “Princess of China” more than any other track and none of these dedicated fans seemed put off by Rihanna’s presence – in fact, it was the opposite. This is still a Coldplay song, and Rihanna’s contribution is one that adds not only to the track, but to Mylo Xyloto as a whole. I can’t wait to hear it again.”

Rihanna is still busy promoting her debut signature scent, Reb’l Fleur, but she has already worked on a second one. Yesterday the “California King Bed” singer made use of her Twitter to make the announcement.

“I’m already started on fragrance #2 an extension of #RebLFleur,” so she tweeted.

In the same posting, the Barbadian singer revealed that she got a positive response when she wore a sample of the new fragrance to the Costume Institute Gala event held at New York City’s Metropolitan Museum of Art last Monday night, May 2. She wrote,

“Wore the sample lastnight and all the fly girls wanted some #Yummy”.

Check out the flawless new promotional picture for “Reb’l Fleur” campaign! Whoa! Amazing!

When new perfumes are introduced, fragrance companies typically mount introductory advertising campaigns that run widely in women’s fashion magazines, often including sample strips. But to introduce a new perfume named for the singer Rihanna, Parlux Fragrances initially is focusing its marketing efforts primarily on an online video to be introduced by Friday.

For half of the one-minute video, by Droga5, a Manhattan agency, Rihanna glides around a lush topiary garden wearing a peach dress and smiling. Then, Alice-like, she steps through a mirror and is suddenly wearing a black dress and a come-hither expression, and is embraced by a dark stranger wearing a tuxedo.

A specially designed video player enables users to choose to run the video in either direction, which of course conveys different situations, such as the singer stepping toward the man in one mode and backing away from him in another.

Rihanna also shared yesterday on Twitter that “Reb’l Fleur” debuted at #1 best selling fragrance in USA!
