R+B star Chris Brown refuses to answer interviewers’ questions about his relationship with Rihanna - because he hates discussing his personal life with strangers.

The Kiss Kiss hitmaker has been romantically linked to the Umbrella beauty for months, but both singers have continually denied they are a couple, despite being snapped in public kissing and cuddling.

And Brown insists he will always keep the media guessing about his love life.

He tells WENN,

“Nobody wants to focus on what’s positive, they want to know about my personal life. Every interview I do, they’re like, ‘So, how are you and such and such doing?’ And I’m like, I don’t know you, why you all in my business? So that’s my take on it personally.”

Rihanna and Chris Brown are still keeping fans guessing about the state of their relationship after coming up with different answers to the dating question at the BET Awards on Tuesday (24Jun08).
Just a day after Brown’s mother cooed about the Umbrella singer at a pre-awards gift lounge event, the sexy Barbados-born star was still insisting she’s single.
Speaking on the red carpet at the BET Awards, Rihanna said, “We aren’t dating; we’re very good friends.”
But when Brown was asked if he and Rihanna were an item backstage, he playfully said, “Possibly, possibly!”
And his mum hopes the two really are dating - she was overheard telling a friend, “she’s the sexiest and sweetest girl Chris has ever dated”.
The couple has become inseparable in recent weeks and rumours of a romance were sparked when the pair was spotted kissing and cuddling in a fast food restaurant last month (May08).

Washington, May 07: Barbadian singer Rihanna, who has been very coy about her relationship with Chris Brown, recently revealed that she is “very close” to him. In a recent interview with Elle magazine, the 20-year-old admitted that her “friendship” with 19-year-old R and B stunner Chris Brown has changed.

“We’ve always been friends (…) But we’re very close now,”

Though the ‘Umbrella’ singer, who is currently on tour with Kanye West, has refused to comment any further on her relationship with Brown, she has dismissed rumours regarding the other man in her life, mentor and boss Jay-Z.

“I get asked about it all the time and I’m like, ‘You’re asking, but you know the answer,’”

she says of the rap mogul, who married singer Beyonce in April.

The couple browsed Kenneth Cole between rounds of Chris skateboarding in the mall and Rihanna heading to the Cheesecake Factory on Monday.
