As we reported before, Rihanna performed Bob Marley’s Redemption Song at a charity concert in Los Angeles, on Saturday night. However, that was not the only charity event she attended that night. She also performed at the Center For Education Charity Event – pictured above. If you were there and took pictures/videos, please email us at rihannadailycom@gmail.com.

E! Online reports: Rihanna traveled to Arizona to meet boyfriend Matt Kemp’s family this weekend, but this was no ordinary trip. The singer flew in all the way from Berlin on Saturday just so she could attend Kemp’s charity bash, Ante Up for Autism. The L.A. Dodgers outfielder is very close to the cause as his brother is autistic. She had performed at the Echo Awards in Berlin on Thursday but then hopped on a plane shortly after.
“Matt was happy she came,” says an inside source on Rihanna making it to the event. “It was an awesome show of support.”
Besides the other pro baseballers in the house Saturday evening, Kemp’s family also attended, and they met Rihanna for the first time.
“Rihanna fit right in as if they all knew each other. It was comfortable.”
The fundraising gala kicked off with Vegas-style gaming and cocktails, a live and a silent auction, followed by dinner and dancing. The second-annual event raised $170,000 with only 150 people in attendance.

Rihanna attended a charity event last night in Phoenix, Arizona. The event, called Ante Up For Autism, was hosted by Matt Kemp.

Inspired by a young friend who died from leukemia, Rihanna is working to get help for those who suffer from the disease.
Rihanna was among the celebrities who submitted a request for funding to Pepsi’s Refresh Project, which doles out $20 million to various causes, and was at the foundation’s kickoff party Friday night during Super Bowl festivities. The singer is trying to raise money for DKMS, which tries to find bone marrow donors for those suffering from leukemia.
“If we win, this would really help us recruit 4,000 individual donors,” she said.
For Rihanna, the connection is personal. She was active last year in trying to find donors for 6-year-old Jasmina Amena, who died last month. They became friends.
“She was a very free, fun spirited little girl, full of energy, always happy, always energetic,” Rihanna said. “I always remember she wouldn’t sit still. She was always running around, always had a smile on her face.”
At precisely 10:30 p.m. in London — two and a half hours before the start of Friday night’s (January 22) “Hope for Haiti Now” telethon — Rihanna was finally in the same room as Jay-Z, Bono and The Edge, her three collaborators on “Stranded (Haiti Mon Amour),” the song they had recorded just three days earlier in studios all around the world.
The four, backed by Jay’s cracking live band and a full gospel choir, were about to perform the song together for the first time, in front of a studio of television producers and, really, the entire world. But not a single one of them was nervous. Rather, they saw it as a tremendous opportunity — not just to help the victims of last week’s devastating earthquake, but to remind them that they will never be left stranded, not even after the TV cameras leave and the focus of the globe shifts elsewhere.

Tonight (Jan 22) at 8 p.m. ET, YouTube will live-stream “Hope for Haiti Now: A Global Benefit for Earthquake Relief,” hosted by George Clooney, Wyclef Jean, and Anderson Cooper to raise funds for earthquake relief.
The global telethon will feature performances by Wyclef Jean, Bruce Springsteen, Jennifer Hudson, Mary J. Blige, Shakira, and Sting in New York City; Alicia Keys, Christina Aguilera, Dave Matthews, John Legend, Justin Timberlake, Stevie Wonder, Taylor Swift and a group performance by Keith Urban, Kid Rock, and Sheryl Crow in Los Angeles; and Coldplay, and a group performance by Bono, The Edge, Jay-Z, and Rihanna in London.
We believe Rihanna’s performance was pre-recorded.
This post will be updated with news, pictures and videos.
