• Rihanna “We Found Love” music video is nominated for 2 MTV Video Music Awards 2012: Best Female Video & Best Pop Video. Vote here! Japanese Navy, don’t forget that Rihanna will be there in April and August!

• Katy Perry has recently mentioned a possible collaboration with Rihanna: “We’ve collaborated on a lot of things, but just not songs yet. It’s one of those things that’s got so much build up that we have to deliver. I want it to be like that Eurythmics and Aretha Franklin song ‘Sisters Are Doin’ It for Themselves,’ not ‘Beautiful Liar.’ But I definitely want to do something that is so iconic. [Rihanna's] kind of busy too. We’re both busy but we planted the seed two years ago. How disappointed would you be if that song came out and it’s no good? Sometimes you have to wait for greatness.” Katy has also talked about Battleship and “We Found Love” — read here. She was also asked to sing a little bit of “We Found Love”, click here to watch.

The main 2012 Grammy nominees were announced few hours ago on The GRAMMY Nominations Concert Live – Countdown To Music’s Biggest Night telecast.
Rihanna got 4 nominations (in 3 categories “Album of The Year”, “Best Pop Vocal Album” and “Best Rap/Sung Collaboration”). Rihanna’s performance was pre-taped from her LOUD Tour in London.

Rihanna has been nominated for 2011 Soul Train Awards in categories Best Caribbean Performance for”Man Down”, Best Hip-Hop Song of the Year for “All of the Lights” with Kanye West and Best Dance Performance for “Only Girl in the World”/”What’s My Name”.

This year’s show will tape in Atlanta on November 17, but will air in simulcast on both Centric and BET on November 27 at 9pm/8c.

Yesterday MTV VMA nominations were announced and the result surprised most of the fans including Rihanna Navy. Rihanna was totally snubbed. She wasn’t nominated for ANY video from Loud album even when they WERE one of the most watched, most played, most popular videos this year. And she wasn’t the only performer who got left out.We’re still not sure if music videos alone had any matter for granting the nominations, because it seems that no one (who put together the list) didn’t pay them attention, but based it on… we’re still not sure.

2011 and all music video channels definitely belonged to Katy Perry, Rihanna, Lady Gaga, Britney Spears and other great artists who were also left out from the list.

Fans around the world already showed their disappointment by trending #VMAnominationFailure for a whole day. MTV Buzzworthy is wondering who deserved to be nominated basing on Katy Perry’s tweet. Nominations can’t be changed but hopefully it will show MTV that they have dissapointed their viewers around the world.
