Nominees for the 2013 BET Awards were just announced and Rihanna is up in three categories:

• Best Female R&B/Pop Artist
• Video of the Year – Diamonds
• Coca-Cola Viewers Choice Award – Diamonds

Rihanna has already collected three BET trophies – Viewer’s Choice Award for “Live Your Life” with T.I. (2009), “Hard” (2010) and for Best Female R&B Artist in 2011!

The BET Awards airs live from the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles on June 30, 8 p.m. Eastern.

After scoring 18 category appearances in 2011 and 13 more in 2012 at the Billboard Music Awards, Rihanna once again lands double-digit finalist slots by competing in 10 categories this year:

Top Artist, Top Female Artist, Top Hot 100 Artist, Top Radio Songs Artist, Top Social Artist, Top Streaming Artist, Top R&B Artist, Top R&B Album, Top R&B Song, Top Dance Song.

Billboard Music Awards finalists were based on key fan interactions with music, including album and digital singles sales, radio airplay, touring, streaming and social interactions on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, VEVO, Spotify and other popular online destinations for music. These measurements were tracked year-round by Billboard and its data partners, including Nielsen Entertainment and Next Big Sound.

• Best Female Video
• Best R&B Video

The 2013 MTV Video Music Awards Japan will be held in Chiba on June 22, 2013.

Rihanna is nominated for two BRIT Awards this year:

• International Female Solo Artist
• Best British Single with Capital FM (Coldplay & Rihanna – “Princess of China”).

The BRIT Awards 2013 will take place live from London’s O2 Arena on February 20th (her birthday!). Let’s hope RiRi is going attend & perform!

Rihanna will battle it out with four other artists for this year’s title. MTV can now reveal the final five nominees vying for the Worldwide Act distinction at the 2012 MTV EMA.

For the past six weeks, MTV have given fans around the world a chance to vote for their favourite hometown artists, all to help that local act secure the nomination and earn a chance to represent their respective region at this year’s EMA.

More than 160 artists from every corner of the world have enjoyed the MTV EMA spotlight as part of the Worldwide Act voting competition, and now the final five Worldwide Act nominees are: Dima Bilan (Europe), Han Geng (Asia Pacific), Ahmed Soultan (Africa/India/Middle East), Rihanna (North America) and Restart (Latin America).

Starting today (30th October), these five artists will go head to head in one last round of voting in the Worldwide Act category, which celebrates the range and breadth of all the music that MTV has to offer across the globe.
