There are only a handful of femmes that can make being bad look so good and do it so well. Rihanna, without a doubt, is one of them. With her free spirit, style and talent, the Barbadian singer has won the hearts of many since her pre-Roc Nation days. We can’t wait to see what Rihanna has in store with her sixth studio album, “Talk That Talk,” set for release Monday (Nov. 21).

In time for the release of “Talk That Talk,” Billboard.com is counting down Rihanna’s top twenty Billboard hits. This chart of Rihanna’s 20 top Billboard hits is based on actual performance on the weekly Billboard Hot 100 through the chart dated Nov. 12. Songs are ranked using an inverse point system, with weeks at No. 1 earning the greatest value and weeks at No. 100 earning the least.

Rihanna is nominated along with Taylor Swift, Eminem, Justin Bieber and Lady Gaga for Top Artist Award. The awards ceremony will take place on May 22nd! Ri is nominated in 18 categories! Don’t forget to vote for her in Fan Favourite Award category!! Click here!

There’s nothing that makes a pop star irresistible like some actual edge-and Rihanna cuts through the competition like a candy-coated switchblade. “Trends are boring,” she says. “It’s boring to see everyone doing the same thing.” No one’s yawning at RiRi: In the past year, the beautiful Barbadian diva has proven beguilingly unpredictable. Who could forget her confession this year that she’s sexually submissive, a theme emphasized in the hook to her controversial single “S&M”: “I may be bad, but I’m perfectly good at it/ Sex in the air, I don’t care, I love the smell of it/ Sticks and stones may break my bones, but chains and whips excite me.” Whew.

We’ve updated our gallery with high quality scans and photoshoot of RiRi on the cover of the latest Billboard Magazine issue. Be sure to read the whole article, Rihanna mentioned RD! Aww!

It’s been just six weeks since Rihanna’s wax figure was unveiled, but already it needs a makeover. The creepily life-like sculpture, which assumed its place in Madame Tussaud’s Washington, D.C., outpost on Aug. 31, immortalizes the biker chick-meets-”Blade Runner” look that the pop star rocked this past winter: shoulder-padded blazer, airtight corset, shimmery makeup and a haircut that only she could pull off, part-buzz cut and part-blonde-streaked, sideways swoop.

But Rihanna has moved on since then, now sporting mostly shoulder-length, barrel-curled locks in a shade twice as fluorescent as fire-engine red. Her new look is less severe, more romantic. A day after the figure’s unveiling, a photograph of the Barbadian singer kissing her waxen self appeared on Twitter and made it abundantly clear how much she’s changed.”A lot of people dress like Lady Gaga now. I’ve just stepped off into a whole new look and style,” Rihanna says calmly, phoning in just before a flight to London after a nonstop week of work and play in New York. “The whole shoulder pad thing, and the architectural look, is so sharp-edged and tough. I’m over that. I like floral prints now, which I never liked.

“Trends are boring,” she adds. “It’s boring to see everyone doing the same thing.”

Even though the VMAs were only half over, nothing got Twitter followers more excited than Rihanna’s surprise opening performance with Eminem. Slim Shady launched the show with a performance of “Not Afraid,” before the camera cut to Rihanna standing on the stage singing the opening chords of “Love the Way You Lie.”

Fans took to Twitter with their thoughts, and Rihanna and Eminem became two of the most talked-about performers of the night. More than 4,700 tweets per minute were posted after Rihanna’s performance, with the VMAs following her and Eminem being third most popular.
“SURPRISE!!!….just had to do it guys,” Rihanna tweeted after the performance, and fans responded in kind.

As Eminem’s Recovery moves toward yet another week at the top of the Billboard  album chart, his “Love the Way You Lie” also maintains its assault on radio and the digital realm (as of this writing, it stood as the most-downloaded song on iTunes). It seems poised to top Katy Perry’s “California Gurls” this week and take its place at the front of the line on the Billboard Hot 100. That would give Eminem his second consecutive chart-topper, following the success of “Not Afraid.”

But even if “Love the Way You Lie” doesn’t make it to the top of the Billboard Hot 100 this week, Slim Shady can be proud that fans have voted it their favorite collaboration with a female artist. On Monday (July 12), MTV wondered out loud whether or not “Love the Way You Lie” (which features Rihanna) was better than his collaborations with Pink, Dido, Dina Rae or his daughter Hailie. The final results of the poll were razor thin, but Rihanna narrowly pulled off the victory, bringing in 39.77 percent of the vote. + Continue reading…

MTV.com: Rihanna’s just-released “Rockstar 101″ video is arty and sexy and all of that, but it’s perhaps most notable for the questions it poses. Like, how does one affix giant horns to their head? Is there a proper technique for smashing a guitar? Or, most importantly, since when did Slash become a total babe?

Yes, there’s much to ponder in the video — so much that it requires repeated viewings to digest. And since we’ve spent the majority of the day doing just that, we’ve also noticed a lot of things in the clip that seem familiar. So, as we’ve done in the past for the likes of Lady Gaga and Christina Aguilera, we decided to give “Rockstar” the “pop-culture cheat sheet” treatment. Here’s a list of all the things that flashed by our eyes, alphabetized for your perusing pleasure. Oh, and though we’re thorough, we’re sure there’s something we missed along the way — feel free to let us know about it in the comments below.

Here’s what you might have missed in Rihanna’s “Rockstar 101″ video:

Barker, Travis: Tattooed beat-keeper for Blink-182 (and your favorite rapper, too). This one’s actually pretty obvious, as Barker makes roughly a bajillion cameos in the “Rockstar” clip, playing drums with Rihanna’s band. He actually taught RiRi how to play drums, too, and told MTV News about it back in March.

Björk: Icelandic ingenue. When she puts on her horned helmet, Rihanna reminds us of Björk (specially in this picture), who has spent more than two decades doing this sort of delightfully odd stuff. Of course, the helmet also reminds us of something that Tank Girl would wear, too. So, perhaps it’s more accurate to say she was equally inspired by both.

World famous R&B singer Rihanna is currently in Korea for the first time since her debut and was recently interviewed. When asked what her favorite Korean food was, she responded, “Bean paste soup.”

On February 10th, Rihanna was on MBC FM’s ‘Successful Music Camp.’  On the show she also said, “I like Korean food like bulgogi (marinated barbecued beef).”

In addition to her radio show appearance, Rihanna held a press conference on the 11th for her new album ‘Rated R.’ She said, “Among all the albums I’ve made until now, this one is the most bare and faithful.

It’s refreshing to see American pop stars in Korea. On another note, it’s amazing that Rihanna actually likes the bean paste soup, most Americans I know hate the smell – but little do they know it’s delicious.

It’s hard to believe that Rihanna attended her first major concert only six years ago, and now she’s performing at the same events with the stars she once looked up to.

The 21-year-old singer shared her first concert experience with iTunes.

“My very first arena concert was Beyoncé/Alicia Keys/Missy Elliott [in 2004]. I think it was the ‘Ladies First’ tour,” she said.

Despite her bad seats, she will always remember that special night.

“I was in like a nosebleed seat, but I was in tears. I could not believe that Beyoncé was right there, and Alicia Keys and Missy Elliott.”

Rihanna was in awe of the artists she now considers her peers.

“I was a little starstruck. No, I was very starstruck, but it was so much fun. It was very inspiring and it motivated me so much.”

Bono wrote the hook for “Stranded” — his new Haiti benefit single with Jay-Z and Rihanna, which is subtitled either “Haiti Mon Amour” or “Haiti Mi Amore” — while on the phone with producer Swizz Beatz. “The idea of the song is ‘We’re not gonna leave you stranded’ and that’s what the chorus is,” Swizz Beatz tells Rolling Stone. “So me and Bono started going back and forth with ideas, and he was like, ‘You know this word stranded keeps standing out to me’ and I asked him to sing it, and he put me on hold ’cause he’s recording the ideas on a Dictaphone — so he did it there and then on the phone.”

Thnx to Federico

E! Online: Tyrese’s birthday party at MyHouse last night brought out all the big names like Diddy, Rihanna and her new baseball beau Matt Kemp, Snoop Dogg, Jamie Foxx…and the LAPD?

It was quite the scene outside the Hollywood hot spot as helicopters and police officers were called in to help with crowd control. Not that the birthday boy seemed bothered by the police presence. “1,100 people turned away!” Tyrese twittered. “17 police officers outside. Hellicopters, SHUT DOWN!” It probably didn’t help matters that Diddy was also tweeting about the bash—making it the party to crash.

As for Rihanna and her man, who are back in town after their PDA-filled vacay in Cabo… No tweets but the BFFs with benefits seemed “very happy” as they danced and drank Grey Goose and bubbly.

“She was introducing him around the room to various people, and they seemed to be having a good time together,” a club rep tells E! News.

Click here to view the pictures of Rihanna arriving at the party. Here you can see a picture of Matt arriving.
