After a two-week respite, Rihanna’s “We Found Love,” featuring Calvin Harris, returns to the Billboard Hot 100 summit (2-1) for a ninth total week in charge.

The song, which already represents Rihanna’s longest residence at No. 1 on the Hot 100, matches Ke$ha’s “TiK ToK” in early 2010 for the longest time tallied atop the Hot 100 for any song since the Black Eyed Peas’ “I Gotta Feeling” racked 14 weeks on top in summer 2009.

On Radio Songs, “We Found Love” rules for an eighth week (152 million audience impressions, according to Nielsen BDS), granting Rihanna her longest reign on the list as a lead act, besting the seven-week domination of her “What’s My Name?,” featuring Drake, early last year. She also ties her longest stranglehold atop the chart overall, having spent eight weeks at No. 1 on Radio Songs as a guest on T.I.’s “Live Your Life” in 2008-09 and Eminem’s “Love the Way You Lie” in 2010.

On Digital Songs, “We Found Love” descends 2-4 with 185,000 downloads sold, according to Nielsen SoundScan.

Rihanna tweeted the single cover of “Talk That Talk” feat. Jay-Z, the 3rd single of her latest album.

Rihanna has overthrown Lady Gaga for the title of “Queen of YouTube“. She has obtained a total of 2,033,848,822 video views, which is over 2 million more than the former leader’s total and growing exponentially. This comes on the heels of Rihanna’s recent crowning of “Queen of Facebook” late last year, where coincidentally she also replaced Gaga. Rihanna is also the “Queen of Digital Downloads“.

Bartu Erdem: “I’ve been a die-hard RiRi fan since day one but who would ever knew that I would meet her after 6 years! Before 2010 I had never tried to go to a concert of Rihanna because she never came close to Turkey but in June 2010 she finally came. She was coming from Athens therefore I even tried to buy a business class ticket from Athens to Istanbul on the day of her arrival! But obviously I couldn’t take the risk cause there were a couple of flights going on the same itinerary. So instead I waited in front of her hotel in the morning and when she arrived I saw her for the first time; I literally couldn’t move a muscle, I was paralyzed. She’s so charming, like when she walks through a place everybody stops and just watches her. I couldn’t actually meet her in front of the hotel because she directly went into the hotel. So I waited her to get out and followed her car to the venue.

• “We Found Love” extends its reign as Rihanna’s longest-leading Billboard Pop Songs No. 1, as the song, featuring Calvin Harris, rules for a sixth frame. That’s twice the total of her three previous longest commands: “Take a Bow” and “Disturbia,” which led for three weeks apiece in 2008, and “Only Girl (In the World)” (three, 2010). Rihanna concurrently debuts on Pop Songs at No. 39 as a guest on Coldplay’s “Princess of China.” The entrance of “Princess Of China” queens Rihanna as the sole artist with the most Pop Songs entries since the Nielsen BDS-based list launched the week of Oct. 3, 1992. Now with 30 visits, she passes Island Def Jam labelmate Mariah Carey (29) for first place.  

• Rihanna was one of the first celebrities to congratulate Beyoncé and Jay-Z on their first child, a girl named Blue Ivy Carter. She tweeted: “Welcome to the world princess Carter! Love Aunty Rih”

Rihanna collaborated on the brilliant “Princess Of China” from Coldplay’s No. 1 album Mylo Xyloto. Last month it was rumoured that BRIT Awards bosses plans to get the two chart heavyweights together for the O2 show next month. And now Rihanna has given the green light, the big moment looks like a real possibility. Speaking at the O2 before Christmas, she said:

“I think Chris Martin is a special guy. His songwriting is just beautiful and I am a huge fan. If they want me to sing with Coldplay, I will be waiting for the call. I’d love to perform with them.”

Mark Pennell: “I went to all 10 shows at London O2 for the Loud Tour. I also went to 1 in Newcastle, Birmingham, Manchester, V Fest & Jingle Bell Ball. And Loud Tour BARBADOS! I had previously met Rihanna 3 times at a shopping centre in London and 2 Meet and Greets on Last Girl On Earth. This time I had 4 meet and greets and she recognised me everytime! On my last meet and greet she said how much she appreciated me going all the time and that she loved me. She also noticed I had a new hairstyle and she said she loved it. In Barbados when she came off stage during ‘Don’t Stop The Music’ she climbed on the barrier infront of me and made me sing into her mic! In all of her shows in the UK she either waved, pointed or blew a kiss at me as I was pretty much always in the front or on stage pods. In the last show at the O2 during ‘Run This Town’ she came over and took my phone off me and filmed me and her then took a picture of herself on my phone aswell then got up on the barrier infront of me and held my shoulder why she stood there.”
