Rihanna is going to perform at the Donbass Arena on May 14th to celebrate the 75th anniversary of Ukrainian professional association football club, FC Shakhtar!
The preparation of the ceremony are made by Italian company K-events which held the opening of the Olympic Games in Turin. “The show will be a wonderful gift for our fans“, told Sergey Palkin, CEO of FC Shakhtar.
The grand show will start at 20:30 in Donetsk and will be broadcasted in other cities. Tickets for the ceremony can be already purchased at the Donbass Arena!
This will be the first Rihanna performance in this country!

The new remix is doing great on iTunes, currently at #1, which improves its chances for #1 on the Hot 100. “S&M” is the most played song in US Radios but the airplay is going down. Rihanna has sold over a staggering 300,000 tickets for her UK ‘Loud’ Tour to date and to celebrate this record breaking feat she is adding her 10th and final show at the O2 London on Tuesday 20th December 2011. Rihanna has broken the venue’s record with ten shows, the longest ever for a solo female artist at The O2 arena since it opened in 2007.
Rihanna mania shows no sign of slowing down with this announcement, the Brit and Grammy award wining artist has now sold over 1.4 million copies of her album ‘Loud’ in 20 weeks (only in the UK), in that time it has never left the Top 10 and spent 17 weeks inside the Top 5. In this period ‘Loud’ has seen 3 singles from the album chart Top 3, with two Number 1’s, selling over 2 million copies.

Rihanna will perform at Helsinki’s Hietaniemi beach on Monday 15th of August as part of On The Beach beachparty. Other confirmed acts are Tinie Tempah and Santigold. The ticket sales start on Thursday 14th April in Lippupalvelu and Tiketti.
On The Beach equals a beach party that goes on for the whole day and where the audience can enjoy beach atmosphere and their favourite artists. The event is for all ages but for the over 18-year-olds there are also bar areas.
