After a quick trip to Japan for Summer Sonic Festival, Rihanna is back in Los Angeles. Yesterday evening (August 20) she was seen out and about posing to pictures with fans.

Rihanna was seen arriving at Tokyo Narita airport few hours ago (Thursday evening local time). Rihanna will perform at one of the country’s biggest stadium events, called Summer Sonic, in Osaka and Tokyo in two days.
Rihanna was seen heading to Scarpetta Restaurant last night (August 13) in Beverly Hills.

Rihanna is the executive producer of the fashion reality show. The 10-part series is hosted by Nicola Roberts and Vogue blogger Henry Holland, and features a group of aspiring designers competing against one another.
“This show was a way for me to give these kids the opportunity to see how far they can go,” she said in a recent interview. “We’re hoping to find the next superstar designer to dress superstars – someone like Vivienne Westwood or Alexander McQueen.”
The eventual winning designer, whose name is being kept firmly under wraps, had the honour of dressing Rihanna – reportedly creating the outfit that she wore on-stage during Wireless Festival in Hyde Park last month. The show was pre-recorded earlier this year and sees the contestants facing a guest celebrity judge each week – including Cheryl Cole, Katy Perry and Pixie Lott.
“London has always been one of my favourite cities to come to,” Rihanna has recently shared. “I always go out on the street walking around, just to see what the kids are doing. They always set the trends for designers. The kids in London have so much street style and so much talent.”

As its most famous daughter, Rihanna has done much to raise the profile of her sunny Caribbean home. And now the singer has been given an official role, shooting a campaign as the Face Of Barbados. The 24-year-old was photographed shooting her first campaign for the three-year role on an idyllic beach yesterday (August 9).
Yesterday Rihanna was seen doing a photo shoot in Barbados….riding a horse! The singer is expected to feature in a significant advertising campaign to market this island, expected to be launched next month.
“She has readily agreed to support her country. I believe there is a full crew here for the advertising campaign which Rihanna will be doing for her country that will be spread across social media and new media. That campaign is expected to be launched in September this year in time for the winter season. For the first time we will be able to launch a fully integrated ad campaign and we are very excited about that,” said Adrian Elcock, Chairman of the Barbados Tourism Authority .

Other stars joining Rihanna on the show are said to include The Saturdays, Scissor Sisters, Katy B, Tinchy Stryder, Pixie Lott, Little Boots and Little Mix. The UK-based show will also feature designer Henry Holland and Girls Aloud star Nicola Roberts as mentors as wannabe designers create an outfit for a different artist every week.
