Rihanna nominated for 2017 iHeartRadio Music Awards

iHeartRadio has announced the nominees for this year’s show and Rihanna (and the Rihanna Navy) is nominated in the following categories:

Female Artist of the Year

R&B Artist of the Year

Best Collaboration (Work)

Best Collaboration (This Is What You Came For – Calvin Harris feat. Rihanna)

R&B Song of the Year (Needed Me)

R&B Song of the Year (Work)

Best Music Video (Work)

Best Music Video (This Is What You Came For – Calvin Harris feat. Rihanna)

Best Fan Army (Rihanna Navy)

Fan voting will determine this year’s Best Fan Army, Best Lyrics, Best Collaboration and Best Music Video. Social voting for the Best Fan Army presented by Taco Bell award began through iHeartRadio’s social sites and in the iHeartRadio App on January 3 and social voting for all other categories begin today, January 4.

To vote on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram, simply include the hashtags #RihannaNavy, #IHeartRadio and #BestFanArmy in your posts.

In case you missed it, Rihanna Daily, as a fanbase captain, announced Rihanna Navy’s Best Fan Army nomination on Tuesday on Twitter — watch here .

This year’s star-studded iHeartRadio Music Awards will be televised live on March 5 on TBS, TNT and truTV at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT and simulcast on iHeartMedia stations nationwide, as well as on iHeartRadio, the all-in-one digital music and live streaming radio service.

Rihanna’s Fourth Diamond Ball to Be Held in NYC

We are just two months away from this year’s Diamond Ball on September 13! Here‘s a look back at last year to start off our countdown:

The third Diamond Ball raised over $5 million to support CLF’s global education, health and emergency response programs around the world. The evening featured high-energy performances by Grammy Award-winning recording artists Kendrick Lamar and Calvin Harris.

“I am thrilled to bring the Diamond Ball to New York City and bring everyone closer to the mission, the partnerships, the programs and the people at the heart of it all,” said Rihanna at the 2017 Diamond Ball. “Together, we are funding groundbreaking and effective global education, health and emergency response programs. Congratulations to N.E.R.D and Rihanna! Their 2017 collab “Lemon” is nominated for Best Collaboration and Best Editing at the 2018 MTV Video Music Awards.

The 2018 VMAs will air live from Radio City Music Hall in New York on Monday, August 20. Vote here.
