Rihanna to appear on Oprah’s Next Chapter

Oprah Winfrey has revealed that Rihanna will be interviewed on Oprah’s Next Chapter TV show in August. We can’t wait!

Oprah’s Next Chapter is an interview program that allows Winfrey to step “outside of the studio for some riveting, enlightening in-depth conversations with newsmakers, celebrities, thought leaders and real-life families.”

The decision to launch Oprah’s Next Chapter was made after Oprah reflected on her 25 years on television. “After 25 years I got myself out of the studio chairs. I moved into the next chapter, and I am having more fun than ever – moving around the country and the world talking to people I’m really interested in getting to know and I think viewers will be, too,” said Winfrey. “It is so energizing to be out and about in the world exploring new people, new places and new ideas.”

Good thing she is cleaning this era up. Now I have some consturctive critisizm for Rih.

Less drinking, partying and tobacco smoking. Marijuana does help breath control so I will ignore that but also you need DANCE lessons, Barbados called to tell you whats my name, only girl and rude boy are the only song that works with. That, the banging your knees together, and flinging yourself forward on one leg make up 75% of your coreoraphy. Its good Hi-hat is expanding it, so stick with her.

VOCAL COACH! Your "END of the loud tour" vocals are gone you sounded rusty as hell =/ @ Robin hood, please fix those vocals, straining and pushing till your voice cracks during only girl where it used to flow l makes you look amatuer.

Also, what is up with Talk that 2 line talk? o.0 Like it is ass hooks and choruses, no verses, step up the lyrical content so you can at least get respect for that, this era and album were a step down for loud, but do WHATEVER it takes to improve your next, which includes not touring for Talk that Talk, and doing some sort of Summer tour 2013 for you next album

      i honestly think this was a good break for her. to just enjoy herself. she's been working nonstop. at least she cared about her fans enough to produce music that she's going through. she's having fun, and this was a fun album.. i honestly think people expect too much, and forget this is their art. not necessarily produced to be liked or disliked.

First off, Rihanna is Barbadian, not Bajan. She has said this through past interviews, so next time you want to criticize someone? do your homework. Second off, she does not run away from interviews. She tell its like it is, if those interviewers dont like it then don’t ask her to come in, Not to mention, don’t ask her questions about her private life if you’ve booked an interview about a movie! she’s there to promote her movie not promote who’s she’s dating and what not. Lastly, I can’t wait for this interview, i think this is going to be a rare interview where we catch a glimpse into Rih’s heart and soul espeically with someone as welcoming as OPRAH, you can’t help but be open and honest with her (not that Rihanna lies) also i think it would be more comfortable because Rihanna grew up watching her shows and adoring this very women. I cannot wait .. We love you Rihanna #NAVi

I watched part of it the video but i refuse to watch anything associated with the woman beater. I don't appreciate thugs. He's been a thug even before that night we've all heard about. He was and always will be a thug. As far as Oprah, not a fan, but did agree with her views pertaining to the woman beater up until the show was on. Oprah mentioned that once a woman beater always a woman beater. But the show was about Haiti and Rihanna did well.
It would surprise me if Oprah goes into detail about Rihanna and the woman beater thug….. but we'll see. Hopefully he'll be in Jail by August.

out better than ever, Theres many things that go on behind the scenes that none

I have known Rihanna since early 2006. I am aware that Rihanna was attracted to the thug because she would always make excuses for his previous behavior prior to Feb. 2009. Rihanna tolerated this because both of them grew up in dysfunctional families. Needless to say, the only reason why she left him in Feb.2009 was her career, she had to, her worldwide fan base was too important at that time. She has always maintained a connection to him in some sorta way including more recently talking to him and …….
This is why i've been laying low on this out of respect for Rihanna. Yes, Rihanna was partially to blame for their relationship being what it is and allowing him back into her life. I have always said i would love to see Rihanna get some serious professional therapy but whatever. The thug is still on probation so his antics will be cloesly watched and the recent thing with Drake is going to manifest into something major. I have recently said i don't like most of Rihanna's tattoos……she's getting ridiculous. She's not hard core, her fans throughout the world are primarily young, white females. I would like to see her do more movies (which she is doing) and TV. Rihanna needs to reinvent herself, i have said this before, to gain a broader audience, like Brittany, Christina, etc. The thug will always be a thug. Rihanna, on the other hand, has a way out. That's my ultimate desire for her. To see the light…….. I know Rihanna loves being who she is, but there are some things that need to change for the betterment of her future endeavors. She will evolve into a more mature being and we will always have her back.
