Although RiRi couldn’t attend the 2012 Billboard Music Awards last night (May 20), she did end up winning Top Streaming Artist.

Yeah this is BS. Honestly they could have gave Rihanna some more since WFL is the longest number one this century in the US. And Katy Perry got another huge honor for 5 #1′s off of one album… I thought I was gonna puke since the American Music Awards gave her a special award for that already.

Maybe that's y she didn't show up too… cause she knew she wasn't going to get any…. Maybe…. and the funny too, none of the real big stars like her or (Gaga) (except Gaga had a reason for not being there she's touring) and Adele were there. Beyonce wasn't there.. it was lackluster really. if Rihanna wasn't there then there was no show..

  I agree Lmfao only stayed on top of BBhot100 with their song for 6weeks and Adele's song stayed on top for 7 weeks so why didn't WFL win that award oh yeah she wasn't even nominated in that category. Riri got robbed.

TTT is a flop and mediocore at best and only has 1 hit so she stand a great to lose or maybe not even nominated next year for any awards. She losing the teen choice awrds too.

  Rihanna is one of the most socially relevant pop stars at the moment. How can Talk That Talk be a flop, when it's already gone platinum in 10 countries including the US, AND 2x plat in the UK & 3x plat in Ireland? People always come for her b/c she's never scored a #1 album, but she still manages to sell big all over the world. And last time I checked neither Gaga nor Bey scored any Grammy's this year but Rihanna did. Neither Gaga or Bey had any #1 hits from their latest albums (except for Born This Way the single). People need to accept that she IS a legitimate Pop force in the industry, and her accomplishments are not necessarily mirrored by other artists. So you can go have a seat because THAT RIHANNA REIGN JUST WON'T LET UP!!

I'm a bit surprised too, buut Adele definetely deserved those awards. Rihanna's fame is rather about her body, being a celebrity, than Adele's, she is 'just' a singer. But Rihanna should have won much more awards, that's true.

but I am disappointed in Billboard for not giving the credit rihanna deserved this year We Found Love was the biggest song of this Century topping the charts for 10 weeks I'm proud of Adele she deserves all the credit but LMFAO is just trash to me, they didn't have to work hard to get into this industry they were born into it. anyways

"We Found Love" was a fucking shoe in, these awards are completely meaningless if they're not going to give them to the best in each category.
