It is common for abused women to go back to their abusers several times. I was upset at first that they made music together but I like it so I am over that part. As long as they don't get back together I will be happy. I will always be a fan even if she sometimes makes poor decisions like this one but I am sure she will let us know her reasoning very soon.

Are you serious? This has nothing to do with faith. It's called common sense. Go to any woman's shelter, you will find people experienced in working with victims of domestic violence and they tell you that Rihanna is making a bad decision. Rihanna might as well stand in front of a speeding car and "have faith" that it won't knock her down. She can have all the faith she wants, if she makes a bad decision, she will surely suffer the consequences.
The fact that she is even talking to him indicates they are very likely back together. Rihanna seems addicted to abusive relationships. Like any addict it is never good to be around the thing you are addicted to, it will only ensure a relapse. People are welcome to support Rihanna until the end, just like Whitney Houston's fans did.
A sign of growth is being able to accept criticism and being willing to take advice from others. It is not a sign of growth to disregard the advice of more experienced people, for example your label, do whatever you feel like and expect people to support you no matter what. A mature person realizes that there are consequences for their actions and if they are big enough to do whatever they want, they are big enough to handle the criticism.
This is not about being a role model. It is about saving Rihanna's life based factual information about victims of domestic violence and their abusers. I'm not making this stuff up, do some research on the subject and you will see what I mean.
Rihanna likes it or not she is a role model, she signed up for fame and people will look up to her even if she doesnt want to be linked to that. She cant have only one thing and leave the other. its too late now if she thinks its too much for her

If I was jonathan ross I would totally ask her why she did it. Actually I would show her a collection of all the comments of people saying how disgusting some of the "Cake" lyrics are and wait for her reaction. oh and I would SO bring up that Diane Sawyer interview where she said that she couldn't make a selfish decision for love when thinking about a young girl getting killed and be like “What about that, Rihanna?”
