Seeing those vids brought so much joy to me, to see that despite of all the crap bajans had to say, Ri Ri never lost her poise she stayed true to who she was. I just move to the united states from Barbados and its only been a month and i know i miss home a lot and seeing the parts of this vid that shows certain parts of Bim and haring Ri Ri’s accent feels and sounds soo familiar and makes me miss home even more… Good luck Rihanna… oh btw ur bday us tomorrow and mine is today i just think its so kool ur a day apart frm mine, but im only now turning 21 so hey.. but again all the best…

The thing I love about Rihanna is that I can relate to her: sense of humour, family relationships and community ties & most importantly, that she stays true to her roots. Although she's an international pop star, Rih is still recognizable to the people she loves, and that is a rarity when people become accustomed to fame. I appreciate these videos because they are from HER standpoint & not that of a tabloid/blogsite. It's nice to see how far she's come & how much she values the support of her fans. Rihanna may have just released her 6th album, but she's only recently come into her own & distinguished herself as a top international artist. I look forward to seeing further growth in her music & performances, as well as other aspects of her brand (I'm patiently awaiting that new perfume, lol).
