  I agree with you. I read someones negative comment about the way the house looked in the video. I think sometimes people just don't think before they start typing. First of all, there's nothing wrong with that house, it looks very comfortable to me. It looks very lived in. And secondly, how do we know who's house it is???
  
  And let's assume it is her (Rihanna) mother's home, maybe Mrs. Monica likes the way her house looks, and doesn't want all that fancy furniture, stereo equipment, excessive lighting, swimming pools etc. etc. And I don't blame her.
