The name of Rihanna’s world tour adequately described the experience at the biggest show to come to Barbados to date. It took a long time in coming, but Rihanna’s first major showing in her hometown was definitely well worth the wait. Fans had to wait well over an hour to see the star last night, but from the time she took to the stage singing Only Girl (In The World), through the seven wardrobe changes, down to Umbrella at the end was gripping. From the endless hits including S&M, Man Down, So Hard, Pon De Replay and Unfaithful; the spectacular stage and props to her playing a solo piece on drums, the girl who grew up in nearby Westbury Road was awesome. And based on reports of her on-stage behaviour at shows outside of Barbados, it seemed like she toned down her act for her home crowd. I am glad the people of Barbados got to see her in action – again it brought tears to my eyes – I wish her continued success in all she does and in her next level of experience in her career – a new album to come and new height for Rihanna.

It sounds like shooting CHEERS at the after party would be the perfect scene with all her Bajan peeps surrounding her because the after party was hosted at a totally different scene in St. James and not at the Kensington Oval where the concert took place or different venues, the concert, the after party and today on the beach – that would be nice.

Man I can wait for all these videos to surface and I hope the documentary is out on DVD or something. I am waiting (cash in hand) to purchase anything that has BARBADOS in it.

I disagree with the statement that she toned down, the more she wukkup the more the crowd screamed … WE LOVED IT! She rock Bim solid! And it was also a humbling moment for her to look across the road and see how far she has come, sometimes I don't think she really realizes her incredible fame, especially when she's at home doing the usual.

this show was one of the biggest shows Barbados ever had, the stage was impeccable, and the performance was to die for, Rihanna did her home town well and i am proud to say i am a bajan. she rocked the house in front thousands of Barbadian and people of all different ethnicity. 100% bajan. MUAH

Kensington Oval was SOLD out… it was bursting…. there was no room……not even on the grounds. I heard a man said that he could not turn around his body. Some people in B'dos were scrambling last minute to get tickets, when they realize that everybody was going to the concert except them. It was an excellent show, she rock Barbados….we know that she can sing and peform, we proved it more last night so we dont have to worry about the jealous haters. We pray that GOD continue to bless her, and that she grows from stength to strength. We know that she has grown and improve a lot from when she first started. May GOD bless her.

Does anyone have anything to describe the new 4 member group out of Barbados called "Cover Drive" that opened the show for Rihanna? I watched them on youtube and they are awesome kids. Amanda, the lead singer in the group is another up and coming star. Can anyone who went to the show share some light on them as well?

I would like to hear what you have to say – I support them all as well……………more talent in the industry.

Drake" – then Man Down was filmed in Jamaica, this is our Bajan time now for Cheers – perfect place with all her hometown friends, hope Negus is included in it too – I like him and he watches her back while running around there. Perfect place for that video.

The show was aweeeeeeeesum!!! Rihanna has really developed into a well-rounded professional and seems to be still well-grounded. I am glad she had the opportunity to perform in BIM, but most of all I am glad to witness that historic event. Ri Ri stay focused!!

The concert was so good. People have been on the phones from the time that concert ended and all day just talking about how good it was. I talked to several Tpurist who had an absolute blast and said thay can't believe how good it feels to see her perform in her Island for her people and they actually get to celebrate with the Bajans. They wanted to scream louder than the Bajans. So many went .. Some evern went to Kensington hoping there were people outside selling tickets . That's how desperate it was.. I 'm sorry for those who missed seeing it live. When she first appeared on the stage, I'm not going to lie, out of sheer pride seeing her there, tears ran out my eyes. I was proud of our little Bajan girl all grown up and doing Us proud and staying true to her roots and her self. Staying strong against all the negative talk and actions and still winning. 100%BAJAN to the World!!! RIHANNA NAVY loves Rihanna !!!!!!!!!!!!!

I saw women crying and singing along……….I heard a lil girl……yes little girl tell her mommy that Rihanna is like a princess………..it was a sight to behold and the Barbadians supported their own in a way not seen before, and for that I am PROUD………..Jayne I saw and heard so many things in the Oval last night and none were negative…..not even the long wait for her to appear………little rain did not move Bajans and you know we cayn tek the rain………………..but all in all it was a great show……there should be a next one tonight to tell the truth………….and when she told Bajans……….wunna behaving real buje…..wunna doan get on so…………the Oval shook….the people do bad……………….RiRi was hot……saiting now on my photos………my brother was with her as one of her photographers……………the after party…….well that is a whole other story…………..
