I hope she does not go to BET award. They never give her an award. The only one she ever win is the viewer's choice and that's b/c the fans vote. I still won't watch. Didn't watch last year, didn't watch the year before. don't like BET b/c they are bias and they do not show Ri enough love.

It is very true. BET does NOT show Rihanna love. She is clearly the winner for best female artist. If Rihanna gets robbed this year I am done.

Personally I find when it comes to BET , others also and Rihanna comes up against African/Americans they would rather see her lose than win even though it's clearly evident she deserves to win. It has to be the fact she is from the Caribbean and is considered by them to be inferior to the Black Americans. Their "you can come and be successful but not as or more successful than an American". Hence all the derogatory comments about her accent, about how violent Island women are (American women, especially black women are so passive….YEAH RIGHT!!!). You also had the hate coming from the fact she dated CB and the talk that she used "Voodoo" to get him because that's how the "Island women" get their men- never mind voodoo is not practised in Barbados. You even get comments about her nose and forehead but if she did anything about these it would generate comments like they did to MJ- "She wants to be white" or "She don't like her natural Black features" and the like. If you check a lot of negative comments coming out the U.S. it's from mostly Black Americans.

it's not hate it's just observation so don't get tied up. How can it be otherwise because what am I am? A/m. I have heard these comments and also read them, that's why I spoke on them. If you are not "American ' period some people will try to take advantage of that fact eg. the Gucci case that'ssaid to involve comments about Rihanna.
