Ok this was not the remix for Britney. The song did not fit her voice. They should remix another song. All the hype and this is it. Sorry, but that's how I feel.
On the bright side there are two good things about this song…
1. Rihanna's fantastic voice really showcases britneys lack of one. Not that I really needed proof. I've known that since "baby one more time".
2. This proves once and for all that Rihanna is not popular because she has great songs to sing but because SHE makes them great. Umbrella was offered to brit way back when and I knew that song would have never been as good with her singing it. Rihanna has a special voice and that song fit her. RiRi has a really wonderful gift for picking songs that match her voice. Songs that would only work with HER singing them.

Omg. The last few weeks I have been fully caught up in a Britney fest. Then rumours started arising about a Rih&Brit S&M remix… I dismissed them straight away, although I did think to myself that if it was true, it would be amazing. Then, at 2am, I come and check RD, just seeing whats new. "Rihanna confirms collaboration with Britney Spears!" "Listen to S&M remix feat. Britney Spears"… I think my jaw dropped for 10 minutes straight! It definitely delivers. Now we can happily watch as S&M floats to the top of the charts. And now I think that S&M will be the song performed at American Idol, as all the attention has gone from CKB to S&M (feat. Britney). :D I LIKE IT, LIKE IT!
Oh and I would also like to add that to those people saying that the song doesn't suit Britney, just think about all the s*** the media gives Britney. Both Rihanna AND Britney have reason to sing their 'eff you' to the media. I personally think it DOES suit Britney.

Then rumours started arising about a Rih&Brit S&M remix… I dismissed them straight away, although I did think to myself that if it was true, it would be amazing. Then, at 2am, I come and check RD, just seeing whats new. "Rihanna confirms collaboration with Britney Spears!" "Listen to S&M remix feat. Britney Spears"… I think my jaw dropped for 10 minutes straight! It definitely delivers. Now we can happily watch as S&M floats to the top of the charts. And now I think that S&M will be the song performed at American Idol, as all the attention has gone from CKB to S&M (feat. Britney). :D I LIKE IT, LIKE IT!
Oh and I would also like to add that to those people saying that the song doesn't suit Britney, just think about all the s*** the media gives Britney. Both Rihanna AND Britney have reason to sing their 'eff you' to the media. I personally think it DOES suit Britney.

I think Brit ruined it, the song needs vocal talent that can belt out notes quickly and easily, Britney cannot do that ….at all. Rihanna does it fine, I don't know why she even put Brit in the song. Britney's voice is also waaaay to covered up by autotune. It just feels so out of place and wrong.
It was 100x better without the BS.
