Rihanna just took twitter to confirm herself that “California King Bed” was chosen as 4th international single, however “Man Down” might will be released at this time in North America (and CKB will be released later). Recently Rihanna asked fans which song would like to see as the next single and both were in the lead, even trending on Twitter on the same time.
Now the buzz is even bigger and “CKB” is already trending. Take the poll and decide which song you want next! Rihanna teased that she is planning to fly to Jamaica next week to shoot a video for “Man Down”!

Whateva I will record her performance tonight on ACMA. What is the point of watching getting all excited and have to wait months before i can see the video or even here the song on the radio. CKB one of her best vocals ever on a song.

CKB should be the next international Single since rih rih already shot the video (spring)
Man Down should be the next International Single after CKB (Summer) then I say new album.
she better not rush and put out 2 singles at one time that doesn't make any sense, just like last year she put Te Amo and Rockstar 101 out at the same time! Te Amo was the overseas single and rockstar 101 was the north american single, it's too much we needed to focus on just one single! and rihanna please give S&M more time. release CKB to the radio internationally the week of April 17. so you could do some PROMO! and Man down shouldn't be released until JUNE.

and Niki Minaj is gonna release Fly at the end of May. so that will give CKB some airplay time. it should work out perfectly if rihanna chooses to do it right.

Of course we will but it's not about that. If she release CKB after her performance that would be a big push for the song. award show is a great promo for any song. We want her songs to be successful. I don't want her to make the same mistake she did with RS101.

I don't know why it always seem like she rush to release her singles. I love Ri but does any other artist rlease single back to back like this. S&M is #2 on BB. What is the rush. S&M is in the top 10 on Itunes in over 12 countries.
Wait until S&M start falling then release CKB. Then Man Down. One song for the entire world. One song at a time. OMG!!! Why is there always some drama with Ri.

What she means is that CKB was meant to be released across the world as 4th single but they were wondering about "Man Down" being released at the same time in North America since it got such a positive feedback. And she did ask RD to put the message to clear this up so people wouldn't be surprised if CKB wasn't released in USA. I hope that noone is blaming RD for the whole confussion cause we are here just delievering the message from the Big Boss ;-) It's amazing she looks up to her fans so much and care about our opinion.
Because when she tweeted that CBK will def be released in USA some of you thought we can't get our facts straight :-/ (did we ever fool ya by the way? ever?)
The truth is that the whole singles releases are being change ALL THE TIME. It's not like you guys think that they already have everything planned. They still didn't make the final decision. It's like "Fly" being shot and not yet released. But we here at RD are trying to help them decide by showing fans opinions, creating the buzz etc. I still hope she will release CBK at the same time everywhere and later Man Down… even at the same time like with Only Girl and What's My name… we did manage to make both of them #1 ;-)
PS. Hope you're not hating that temporary layout. I just want to check if it's making any difference to website's performance. I am sooo annoyed by all the downtimes so lets try with something easier and see how it works ;-) On Tuesday the old layout will be back! And I will be here allll night long to make ACMs coverage!

CKB – be released in the spring (April) + good promo in the US and possibly in Europe!

Disappointed in this decision making once a gain. Seems familiar to the Rockstar 101 situation last year. Everybody was all hyped about CKB as the next single then Man Down as the summer single. This is just getting annoying. Whats the point in releasing a North American single. She is an international artist – all her darn singles should be internationally realised. This is just very confusing.

and there goes the first f**k up of the loud era. Everything was going so perfect. the right single choices and everything but of course def jam never gets it right. First of all there is no need for 2 singles, i dnt understand this dual singles crap that beyonce started. It never works….if anything it hurts the singles potentials. King bed need to be the only single released right now…why are they rushing?

I never really liked CKB but every one else sems to like it, and it should definately be the next single, then Man Down for the summer. I thought this before I saw these comments and I'm glad everyone else agrees! No more double singles crap. Does anyone remember Wait Is Ova being released at the same time as Russian roulette???
I always thought Cheers was going to be a single cos Rih Rih was so passionate about it but it seems to have been forgotten. Thats good IMHO because although Cheers is good there are stronger songs.
Hopefully there will be a 6th and final single, I always loved Fading.
Does anyone how fans voted for the other potential singles? CKB came first, Man Down 2nd, what came 3rd, Cheers or Fading??

What is Rihanna thinking? Neither track should be released now. Since summer is right around the corner, if I were her I would release "Cheers (Drink To That)". THAT'S THE SUMMER JAM!! I know as a DJ, I would be spinning "Cheers (Drink To That)" heavily. Radio would love it too, especially if it was released in the summer. Great song for the clubs and hanging out by the pool!
Then do "Man Down" at the end of summer, then "CKB" later in the fall and that's it for the album.
