Rihanna added as VFestival line up artist

Rihanna has been officially added to VFestival line up along with Eminem. The pair, who duetted on the recent chart-topper Love The Way You Lie, will perform at Weston Park near Shifnal as well as Chelmsford on August 20-21.

They will be joined at the two-day music extravaganza by eighties favourites Duran Duran, Sheffield band Arctic Monkeys, Plan B, Dizzee Rascal, The Script, Kaiser Chiefs, Bruno Mars and Razorlight.

British rapper Tinie Tempah, Chase and Status, Jessie J and The Wombats, Manic Street Preachers, Scouting For Girls, N-Dubz, Ellie Goulding, Squeeze, The Saturdays, Pendulum, Primal Scream, Ellie Goulding and Mark Ronson are also on the bill.

Tickets are £175 for a weekend pass with camping, £149 weekend without camping and day tickets cost £83.50. Tickets go on sale on Friday at 9am. For more information visit VFestival.com

Yay! I love that that she has these classic collaborations. The song with Eminem is one-of-a-kind. Not your usual feature for either of them.
Just like the song w/Drake, a completely different style, is also a classic. There's nothing on the radio that sounded like either song.

Nation of Islam leader Minister Louis Farrakhan is famous for his outspoken ideals on politics and current events, but these days the controversial Muslim speaker has a bone to pick with an unlikely target: Rihanna. Farrakhan who delivered his annual Savior's Day Speech near Chicago on Sunday (Feb. 27), blasted the pop star for her scantily clad style of dress and sexually suggestive dance moves; writing her off as "filthy" and calling her fans "swine," a term which he also reserved for gays and lesbians.

Not one to keep her mouth closed, Rihanna quickly responded to Farrkhan's rants. "A minister says I perform filthy, sat+watched the filth, then called u SWINE for doin the same! Haa, is that judgment in ur tone?" she tweeted on Monday. "I certainly don't think u are swine! But a holy man of God does!!! #swineNavy."
