RED-HOT Rihanna reveals her rosy new outlook on life.
For the sexy singing sensation says she’s finally “free” from vicious ex-boyfriend. Sprawled seductively on a bed of flowers in skimpy undies, ravishing Rihanna shows how much she’s blossomed since falling victim to the horrific attack by beast Brown last year.
The 22-year-old Umbrella star said: “Sometimes when you’re on the inside of a relationship like that, you can’t see it clearly for what it is. “I left – it was the best feeling. It was so freeing.”
But the Barbados-born beauty struggles with past decisions, especially after swearing never to let a man touch her after seeing her mum Monica suffer domestic violence.
She confessed: “I witnessed it happening to my mum and I said I would never let that happen to me – and then it was happening. “Now, when I look back, it bugs me out that I couldn’t see it for what it was.”
R&B singer Brown, 21, attacked Rihanna in his car in Los Angeles. He was sentenced to five years probation, a year-long domestic violence programme and 180 days of community service.
She added: “Before that, I was just a little girl from the island, singing pop music. It was easy to think I didn’t have a problem in the world. Then all of a sudden, boom! Everybody realises that I do have problems.”
But Rihanna says that dark period is finally behind her, adding: “It made me strong. It’s a moment in my life I wish would disappear.
“In my head, it’s gone.”
In an interview for the January edition of style mag GQ, chart- topper Rihanna asked for her fans not to pity her. “I have too much pride,” she admitted. “I’d never let anyone see me cry. I don’t want you to remember me for that.”
Rihanna, whose latest album Loud is No2 in the UK charts, also thinks her sexy image may annoy people.
She said: “Girls don’t like to see other girls dressed sexy. I get that. People see my ass out and my boobs out, so it can get a little irritating.”

If that's all they want to talk about simply tell them you are not going to talk about it or have your label/management request that they not ask or there is no interview. Honestly, if Rih didn't want to answer these question she would have had her management say that to all the interviewers a LONG time ago.
Remember there was this one interview she did in the UK last year where they said it was off limits to talk about it, and that's why there were no questions?
I think this is just the way she feels to explain this album. This way she kinda has an excuse for why she went from RR to an album with not very many deep songs.
But I also think it does create a buzz around her. Like it or not you all know Rih is using this to create some sort of buzz. Not saying I think it is bad.
But by explaining it in her recent interviews it has helped her get the 'reasons' behind LOUD out. And without saying that this album has helped her get over that dark period would have made her seem very much like a fast food music artist.

Please, please, please start do NOT be so candid when answering questions about the "situation."
I know you don't want to continue to talk about it, so please find a way to get around those questions.
It's only hurting YOU more. I know you don't wan to relive that situation and you shouldn't.
But being so CANDID in your answers isn't helping you. Just find a way to answer that questions w/o giving so many details or putting yourself out there so much.
If you need to talk in full about what happened please seek a therapist, a pastor or a trusted friend.

Again, there's a way to RESPECTFULLY DECLINE answering CERTAIN questions during an interview without being seen as UNPROFESSIONAL.
Don't you think magazine reporters are used to big time celebrities such as Rihanna declining to answer questions?
Do you think every major star answers EVERY question in an interview?
OK then, Rihanna doesn't have to answer EVERY question in an interview.
Also, this is a sensitive subject and TRUST ME a magazine would NEVER bash Rihanna for declining to answer a question about Feb.8th or CB.
Many of these reporters ask a question just to see if they get an answer. they don't EXPECT to get an answer at all. they have tons of other questions ready to ask.

In the last interview with Marie Claire, we got TWO PAGES of her talking about CB and ALMOST NOTHING about LOUD, her movie, her fragrance, her future clothing line.

This happened to her, if talking about it helps her I don't care who it offends. If it keeps her sane I don't care who gets bothered under the collar. This is a big problem and we can sweep it under the rug and pretend as much as we like, But it will leave an impression on her for the rest of her life and what ever helps her is fine with me.

It really makes no difference whether she talks about it or not. The reason is because she wasn't beaten by a "stranger"…..she was beaten by a high profile celebrity who's name is always in the public. In a way i'm glad she doesn't shy away from it, it will remind people who this a-hole really is and continue to hamper his career. Perhaps the only way it will be finally put to rest is if Rihanna gets engaged to Matt Kemp, but i don't think it will happen for reasons i won't get into. With the Grammy's coming up it will be 2 years since, and once again it will be on people's minds. If i had one question to ask Rihanna about that night it would be something that has bugged me since it happened and surprised no one has brought it up.

It's a major fault for anybody, also for 'regular' people. Also. This thing has nothing todo with MK so I don't get the point linking it to their engagement. This won't make any difference. Yes it does matter if CB is a celebrity. Whenever i see his name, or hear he is doing a movie, releasing a mixtape, whatever, i can't keep the fact out of my head he beat the shit out of Rihanna. I drive by the street sometimes to see a friend which just so happens to be the same street that a-hole left her bleeding and battered that night. And yes it does matter if Rihanna is engaged pertaining to CB. Interviewers will NOT ask her about "him" anymore because it means it erases all doubts that some people still have about her and "him" in the future. A ring will put an end to "him" for good. Hell, i have some friends who still believe Rihanna and "him" will get back together again in the near future. That's the real reason interviewers still ask her questions about that night. Most of us here know the truth, but sadly people out there, including interviewers, will continue to ask her questions relating to "him" until another "him" puts a ring on her finger. In the meantime i applaud Rihanna for not backing down, she is strong.

the Situation with Chris, then why did you continue to bring it up? You as well

it comes out to that you still miss and Love Him and this was well over a year after the event
occured between the two of you. Then I heard you state that you want the fans to forgive Chris
as you have because this was totally unexpected. that you forced his back up against a wall
emotionally, and that it only ever happened one time. So my question is if you want his fans to
forgive him, then how do you expect them to when you bring up " your and his OLD situation every
time you decide that it's publicly and financially convenient for you? And which one is it? Your over
the situation and you want your fans to be to. Or your not over him or the situation and you still have

Rihanna if u want to talk about domestic violence that is ur right. A crime was committed against u and it will take sometime 2 get over, I definitely understand that. The perpetrator kick u out of the car at night and left u out there with nothing but a bloody body and u could of died. Thank God ur alive 2 tell the story. But forgiveness is an important factor for recovery, you have 2 forgive yourself for attempting to stay with someone who tried 2 kill you. God understands just lean on him and be patient. Magazine editors and reporters will continue to ask Rihanna about "the incident" until her PR people put a stop to it. I think she is being gracious by answering their questions honestly instead of shutting it down. But if she's reached her breaking point with constantly having it brought up then she can put an end to it. It's pretty clear that everyone involved has moved on. The media is just taking advantage of her willingness to respond to them… and I'm sure the second she becomes unwilling they will find a way to point it out and make a big deal about it. I'm sure the only reason why GQ even bothered to ask is to sell more copies of their magazine or to get more hits on their site.
