Rihanna was recently interviewed by german Bravo magazine during her promo visit in London. She gave her six secrets how to be successful, talked about the rumour of her dissing her pal Katy, about her new movie “Battleship” and what keeps her stronger.

This girl with fire red hair and colourful style is everywhere and noone can pass her.  Since her worldwide hit “Love The Way You Lie” with Eminem (37) Rihanna (22) is the #1 girl on top! What happened with Chris Brown last year seems to be forgotten. Rihanna is all-smiles! Her success brings haters of course. Current example: There are rumours that RiRi dissed her best friend Katy Perry (24) in a radio interview. They claimed she ment that her music is boring. Some fans attacked Rihanna after that…”How can she say something about her best friend?” or “mean” were the comments.  Really hurtful things. But it’s Rihanna and Rihanna fights back! We’ve met her in the “Royal Garden” Hotel  in London last week for an interview and she told us how she’s gonna fight back.

Rihanna’s 6 secrets to stay happy despite all the haters

F* the haters, focus on your friends!
The singer answers back to the rumour about dissing her friend Katy Perry:
“Katy is my friend! I would never diss her. I don’t see her as my rival. My only rival is myself, because I always wanna get better and better. I ment all the producers, that give singers like Katy, GaGa or Kesha always the same kind of pop-songs. They think, for sure one of them will take it and make it a single. They don’t realise that everyone of us has their own style. I love Katy’s music! That’s why I wanna make a duet with her. We’re already working on it.”

My Love makes me strong!
RiRi about her new boyfriend Matt Kemp:
“I’m so in love and very happy! Our relationship is not easy, because we both work all the time and don’t see eachother very often. But it gives me strengh!”

There is another person who has a huge part on Rihanna’s self-confidence:

My Mom is the best!
“My childhood wasn’t the best. I had to experience bad things – my dad took drugs and I got dissed in school! But there were also good experiences – because of my mom! She taught me to take responsibility for what I do. As well as that I don’t have to be afraid, because she gave me freedom to live my own experiences in life. That was really important to let me become who I am now, a self-confident young woman.”

Be brave and try something new!
About her movie “Battleship”:
“I was so afraid about this project. I had self-doubt. I was afraid to fail. I’ve never filmed a movie before. That’s why I had lots of acting lessons before we started to film “Battleship” and it was worth it. I became brave enough to try it and at the end everything worked out very good and I was proud!”

Changes are important for Rihanna. That’s why she dyed her hair super red and her style changed from dark to colourful and acute. That’s another reason for her success!
Rihanna: “I wanted something new. I try to challenge myself everyday to become better!”

Mistakes are important!
“If I was afraid to make mistakes, I wouldn’t be where I am now. It would limit me. You learn through making mistakes! I got my tattoo “Never a failure, Always a lesson” written backwards on my collarbone just because of that. I wanted to remind myself everyday when I look in the mirror.”

Get strong bussiness partner!
The duett “Love The Way You Lie” with Eminem is a worldwide hit and got RiRi back on Top again.
“To work with Em was a huge honor. He is an awesome rapper – really quiet, but super nice! This Song is the best I’ve ever done.”
