Andy Samberg once again scored an Emmy nomination for one of his “Saturday Night Live” digital shorts with a pop star, and he told AccessHollywood.com that if Rihanna is free, he’d love to perform “Shy Ronnie” on TV’s big night.
“Oh my God, yeah! If they want us to,” Andy told Access at Lexus’ Darker Side of Green event in West Hollywood on Thursday. “I think getting her to do it will be harder.”
The skit, which netted Andy an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Original Music and Lyrics, featured Rihanna singing to a classroom of kids alongside Andy, in a red wig, playing the part of “Shy Ronnie,” a bashful youngster who choked each time she tossed a verse over to him.
Andy previously won an Emmy for “D**k in a Box,” a musical sketch he performed with Justin Timberlake, and the funnyman was thrilled to be nominated again for work with another superstar entertainer.
“It’s great, I mean, that’s the rad thing about ‘SNL’ — everyone comes through there and you’re like, ‘Hey! I have this really dumb idea and you are forced to be here this week, do you wanna do it?’” Andy laughed. “And generally, they’re like, ‘All Right, fine.’”
Andy revealed he hadn’t yet spoken to Rihanna because she’s busy promoting her album, “Rated R,” but they would likely cross paths late at night via some means of communication.
“We usually talk more like in the evening,” he said. “She’s probably like doing some international show, so it’s probably like a different time zone.”
The 62nd Primetime Emmy Awards, hosted by Jimmy Fallon, at 5 PM PT on August 29 on NBC.
Before the big show, Access Hollywood’s own Billy Bush and Maria Menounos – along with Nate Berkus, will host NBC’s 62nd Primetime Emmy Awards Red Carpet Special, live at 4 PM PT from the Nokia Theater at LA Live.

Srprecords confirmed that there isn’t going to exist a re-release of Rated R, there will be a new album and they didn’t confirm if Te Amo was the last single or not..

Yeah, new album after the release of Photgraphs and Firebomb. I believe Rih is allowing time off to continue preparation 4 new album so when it’s time it willl fall right in after Rated R era closes.

and well since it’s a new post and a new day i must and want to say something!
the concert i was attending was canceled, yesterday i was angry and blaming rihanna and her team for lack of promo
now i have thought better i’m not angry anymore and i can tell you one thing: i still think the same things i said yesterday but now i understand
we cannot know what’s going behind doors, in her life, in her career
we cannot know how def jam is towards her
there are many things to think about that i prefer to change my mind
my concert got canceled? well i will have my money back and i still love her because what she has given to me is a lot! every song, every performance, every video, every interview, i just needed to remember the things she has made me to feel
i’m a hardcore fan and i love her, support her and the only thing that could happen so i can say i’m not her fan anymore it must be something soo serious that it would have to be done directly to me
and now all i want to do is to get tickets to another show becuase i feel the need of SEE that tour live, maybe i won’t get first row seats like the concert that was canceled but i will be in one venue shouting singing and showing my love and support for her!
i just need to decide where

@ RtA1913 you are a great fan, i think fans that are in the same situation as you need some time until the angry, or whatever they are feeling right now, dissapear and then they need to stay here supporting RiRi, cause we know she needs us. Thanks for stay with her.
It’s so sad that not everyone can do the same thing you gonna do (go see a concert in another city).
I believe if she could she would never cancel a concert but sometimes she has no choice!

i think this way! i was going to travel to denver anyway so if i spend a llittle more money on my bus ticket and the concert ticket is not front row well it doesn’t matter cause everything is gonna be worth it when i see her live
when she’ll sing my favorite songs when she brings the house down
when i am not gonna be able to speak cause my voice will have be gone after screaming and yelling
god you know what? after she canceled that concert i think i love her more lol or at least it made me think on how much i love her

@RtA1913 it is a good feeling isn’t it? when we realize that we really like someone, when we realize how much we love someone.
Sometimes i think about it, about music, about rihanna and at the end only thing that’s on my mind is “damn i really like RiRi, my life doesn’t depend on her but would be different without her”
Music industry right now wouldn’t be the same if rihanna doesn’t exist, she is a huge superstar and this the truth no one, even the biggest hater, can deny it.

yeah that’s right! yesterday i was mad but i played rated r, i started to think if i stop being a fan, what would i do? i mean of course i’m not gonna die but a day can’t pass without i listening to her songs
i feel so good when i listen to them, some make me cry, some make me dance, some make me rock
i love her, and now that i have the opportunity to finally see her live after 4 years of being a fan i’m not going to let it pass
