The 62nd Primetime Emmy Awards ceremony will take place on August 29th. Rihanna has never been to Emmy awards so we’re hoping this time she will since “her song” is nominated!

Rih is a jack-of-another-trade . . . comedy. She was so good there.
She should do more guest starring comedy. I saw that SNL and even though I was sleepy I had to stay up to c rihmarkable Rih. I got to treat that nite. Her Russian Roulette and Hard performance with Jeezy was like Tony the Tiger would say, g-r-e-a-t!

Hey RD family,
I’m venting right now, I am one of the many fans in Atlanta and I feel soo hurt right now. I truly wanted to experience her tour live, watching it on YouTube isn’t the same. I stan so hard for ri that my friends, coworkers and family members think I’m obessesed. I don’t want a refund, I want to grob my crotch and shout I’m sucking a fucking lady alongside her, I want to whine as the beat drops for rudeboy. This shit is ridiculous! I can’t take anymore insults or negativity being thrown her way; she didn’t drag that asshole nor speak his name doing through whole ordeal; she remained silent and allowed her art to speak for itself.
Every damn day someone got some garbage ass shit about her on the tip of their tongue. Living in the south, these fools are ignorant as them come! They can’t separate gossip and truth.
I want to see ri perform on her own. Damn I wanted to see this tour! Damn. Damn.
The snippet on the glow in the dark tour wasn’t enough, I want more.

This is the SECOND time she cancels a concert I was going to attend, right now I’m fighting the feeling of throwing her albums and delete every song of hers in iTunes and my iPod
and the tour IS NOT selling! when i checked the seats available for my concert there were A LOT available
may be if she and her label just WORK and she would stop fucking her boyfriend each time people would actually like her
right now I’m not sure if I’m her fan or not I’m just disappointed, sad and betrayed

the shows were selling ok, and they might have sold more by the time the reviews kept coming in, like it’s happening in Canada when everything is gonna be sold out… i think it’s also a scheduling issue, she has to work on her new album so she probably decided to cut the less profitable shows… i understand that people are disappointed though, but hold on there might be a second leg who knows…

There is too much hate going on right now. I understand that you’ll are disappointed about the tour cancellations. Maybe things are not selling good, but maybe all the rumors about a new album are true. I hope and pray everthing with Rih is good. If she is recording tham she needs time to record.
About her spending time with Matt. Have you’ll ever looked at Matt’s schedule. The only time he has off until Oct/Nov is next week. I have to respect Rih because she does have a life outside of her career and she is spending it with Matt. Rih is putting her all into her career and personal life. It has to be hard on Rih to juggle all areas of her life at the same time. I am not going to lie it would have been easier for Rih to not be in a relationship right now I believe Rih was not looking for love when Matt came into her life. That is usually what happens love finds you when you are not looking for it.

Madonna’s Sticky & Sweet and Rihanna’s Good Girl Gone Bad
there just 3 days appart and the day after Madonna’s concert Rihanna canceled and later re-schedule to a date I was not going be able to attend! That was in Mexico City (December 2008)
July 2010, I was happy cause finally i was going to see her live touring for Rated R, my favorite album! And now she cancels again! And even if she re-schedules (that i doubt it) it will be in a date i’m not going to be able to attend
the worst thing is that i know WHY she canceled and that she can do things to avoid that i know she’s human and i have defended her so many times but now i’m pissed and don’t know what to do

And well. If you really wanna see her live you’ll find a way to see her in another city. I’d think if more concerts aren’t really sold out why not gather them portions alil. The tix should be easy to change if Ticketmaster keeps up managing that mess fast enough!
Anyway. For now it’s just rumors for me. Or do we have any confirmation that shows got canceled again?

the hate is coming from only on or two fans who have chosen to behave badly because of a little disappointment. I live in Barbados I got tickets for two shows so if one get canceled I would still have the other one to fall back on.
I have plane tickets that cost me a thousand BDS dollars, hotel reservations and a tickets to two shows and five hours of flying just to see her and while I would be disappointed if my shows get canceled I however hope that I would not talk a roll on her web site and tell her to stop f—g her boyfriend just because of a little disappointment over not seeing her show.
But I am grown and have suffered bigger disappointments and know its all part of life.

This is Rih’s first head lining tour, I am not surprise that some of these dates got cancelled.
When I saw the places some of these were being held I thought “Oh really Rih in which universe are you going to have a concert there. ( I am a little surprise that some of those venues are still being kept)
The fact is that 25 dates were never going to happen, but as it is her first tour they had to test the market first and see where the fan base was.
Rih has toured Europe before she knows where her fan base is concentrated and therefore knew where she would have to put her effort therefore some counties would not be even considered for concerts, the base being two small to support a large concert.
The concerts that are left standing at the end of the US tour will tell them where her fan base is concentrated and she will in the future concentrate on those area.
I am sure we will see a few not quite full concerts, but these will be in venues that have for some reason growth potential.
This is marketing 101 under the heading Market research.
I know the fans are disappointed but I come from a small country where the population is small and we do not get the good acts until they are no longer popular. I have a MBA and understand that this is how it is done.
I am not say it is fair or that it was handled well but that it is the reality of the situation and that when all is done “Rihanna” is a brand and Brands are a business.
