Usher has decided that the second single from the new album will be ‘Lil Freak’ the video has recently been released, he is scheduled to perform on Britain’s Got Talent. If he sings this song, it will be a surprise to the public, plus its newly on the radio AND the video will be all over the music channels.. all at once in the space of about 1/2 weeks, which is really quick.

I can guarantee because of doing all this so fast, his single will fly up the charts,

Like i said earlier, Rihanna should have released Te Amo as a single AND a video at the same time, as people will start to get bored of the song by the time the video comes out, obviously us as big fans wont get bored of it, however the less dedicated fans will get bored quickly with such a gap between the song and video.

With Rockstar 101, i believe it is not doing so well in US because of the big gap between the American Idol performance and the video release. If the video and single were released straight after the American Idol performance i believe it would be sky high in the chart by now, however i do have hope left that it will do well over in the US though :-)

If we look at Umbrella, the video & single were released together and was smacked in the publics faces which was amazing and is why it spent 10 weeks at #1 here in the UK. Also it goes the same with Take A Bow which came about suddenly all at once, that hit #1 in the UK too :-)

Im convinced Usher will prove my theory right this week and see his song climb very quickly. If so,
I think Rihanna’s next single ( preferably Fire Bomb! :-D ) should be promoted in this fashion with single & video coming out at the same time so it smacks the public in their faces just like Umbrella & Take A Bow.

I would love to know that this advice was at least looked at by one of Rihanna’s marketers/promoters and see that there is a trend there :-)

whats going on with rihanna’s managing team. they are doing a bad Job it’s like the fans are doing the job for them! she needs to fire her managing team I know rihanna has good relationships with these people but there not managing her like we want her to be manage unless rihanna has control and if she does she better start taking are advice because us fans know whats better for her as an artist and whats not and we all want rihanna to grow to be this POP icon which she almost is but the way it’s going right now I don’t think she can get there.

She’s been away from the US since 2007 (well, it seems like it), but when she gets back it will pick up. Her record company apparently doesn’t understand the concept of timing. Rockstar is supposedly for US audiences, she sings the song on American Idol…..then she leaves the US immediately after. Rockstar is a song that needs to be heavily promoted, it’s not Rude Boy, Hard, or RR. The good thing is she’s coming home in a few days. It should boost the song up. They should have had her do the Te Amo video here then sing it at AI. Then when she would return to the US shoot the Rockstar video and then begin her US tour. The controversy surrounding the Te Amo video would have kept the song strong in the US while she was in Europe.

The Te Amo video could look completely different if they had shot it back in .. *thinking* donno .. before American Idol !! .. :D .. and RS101 was just mentioned to be next single !! .. but Rude Boy was still playing back then !! .. Looking back at it .. the AI performance was a bit of (if not complete) a ‘lesson’ in necessity and timing !! .. Maybe it cut a lil off Rude Boy and off course did nothing for Rockstar !! .. So forget about AI !! ..

Unfortunately she has a concert at Wembly the 6th (which escaped me at the time i mentioned she’ll be at at the awards). It really sucks, her being at the movie awards would do a hell of a lot more promotion wise than singing one or two songs in England at this time. Katy Perry is performing also, Rihanna, please cancel, we need your mug shot on US TV. My god, Rihanna and Matt on the red carpet would probably surpass anything else that happens at the awards. I think i’m gonna vomit. :-(

The “attention” would be positive because Rihanna is the happiest since she’s found Matt. They are an “item” in a good way. Thanx. I just came up with a wild idea for Rihanna. I am going to submit Rihanna’s name for consideration for a Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. It needs to be submitted this month however, because if she is one of about 20 picked (she definately will be), it would be presented in 2011. What i need to know is when did Rihanna officially sign? Was it 2005 or 2006? This is important because she would have to have been signed in 2005 qtr 1 to qualify to be in the next group.
The moderators need to start a petition on this site, have us all check off on it (of course) and then Rihanna can sign it (she has to OK it, lol) and then the nominating committee can then give her the word that her fans gave her the ultimate thank you.
When she does get her ‘Star”, hopefully the next group, or the one after, her star will appear at the Kodak theater…..or, and i’m trying to gather info on where exactly she stood during her “Punk’d appearance, maybe a star on that spot she stood way back when most people never even heard of her. I have to respecfully disagree with that assessment. With Rihanna walking the red carpet, or anywhere else for that matter, with Matt, it allows her to visually tell the public she now has stability in her personal life. She has a BFF in Melissa, a best buddy celebrity in Katy Perry, and now a man in her life that for the first time has been called a boyfriend. There is no drama here, neither one of them gains anything by keeping their relationship seperate in public. In fact, since the world knows they are boyfriend/girlfriend now, it would put Rihanna back into a negative light to some people do to the fact she never really wanted everyone to know the extent of her relationship with the woman beater, but by being seen with Matt she’s telling the world i am in a happy place in my life right now no matter what happens in the future. Rihanna is not dating a rapper with a harem of women in his stable…..she’s dating a superstar pro baseball player on one of the most storied franchises in sports as well as a guy who is a very family oriented and humble athlete in an age where humble and athlete usually isn’t in the same sentence.

Sorry, but a nominee has to have at least 5 years in that particular catagory, that’s why i asked about the 5 year span. I’v already nominated a couple people already, including the late Dennis Hopper. Thank god he was still around to receive it and see all his fans that came out that day. My only regret is that i completely fotgot the nominees have to be submitted by June to qualify for the following year.
