Rihanna added to Lilith Fair festival

Lilith Fair, the all-female touring music festival of 1990s, is back in 2010 after a decade-long hiatus. On April 12, the festival’s full North American summer itinerary was revealed, along with the latest lineup addition: R&B star Rihanna, who will join the tour’s all-star lineup for a July 12 concert in Salt Lake City.

The Lilith Tour will hit 36 North American cities between June 27 and August 16. Each concert will feature 11 artists, with only headliner Sarah McLachlan – who founded Lilith Fair in 1997 – set to perform at every venue. Other artists include Sheryl Crow, Mary J. Blige, Erykah Badu, Gossip, Corinne Bailey Rae, Cat Power, Norah Jones, and Emmylou Harris, in addition to the just-added Rihanna.

The original Lilith Fair took place over three consecutive summers, from 1997 to 1999, and featured world-famous artists including Jewel, Tracy Chapman, Fiona Apple, Indigo Girls, Sinéad O’Connor, and Christina Aguilera.

Hey RD fam!!
We need to start an “Anti-Complaining” campaign here!! As so many others have stated, the complaining is getting ridiculous. It kills the nice atmosphere RD used to have. We are losing our focus. Again, anyone can state their opinion respectfully, but please don’t kill the mood with the constant/repeated complaints. If anyone feels like being mad at RS101 being selected over Te Amo, and that you’ve already stated your opinion in older posts or to srp or Def jam or whoever, please do all of us a favor and go buy the RS101 on itunes to bring it up the charts or go request rude boy or something. They are so many other people who love RS101 as a US single, please stop bashing the song (because your bashing is no different from those people on blogs that wrongfully predicted that Rated-r would flop). Rihanna will be # 3 on Pop Tomorrow (most likely) . She will most likely take over # 2 (LADY GAGA SPOT) However, Jason Derulo is #1 and is increasing the same rate RB is.

6TH Week at # 1 is looking pretty good. Keep requesting guys!!!!! 7th Week wont be a far off goal if airplay is increasing steadily and sales stabilize.
