@zzmyth I personally think the rumor is fake cause I remember Rated R was listed for pre order as a double disc cd aswell. But I do honestly think after Photographs is done they are done with the album. I’m sure they will have spent over $2 million total on videos from Rated R. But I;m excited either way, if she sticks with rated R or does a new album.

mmm didnt you hear the radio interview when they asked him if some one special was going to be there? he said he might gave something up his sleeve, he thought using Rihanna would bust thus up, but it backed fired cuz he was trynna use her for promotion.

I heard the interview and Matt was only telling the truth. The interviewer asked him if she was going to be there and he said he did not know but he was trying to get her to come.
Matt’s entire family was going to be at that function and he was likely hoping that she would come so he could introduce them on neutral ground which is likely why Rih flew 16hrs almost not stop to get to that function.
I know it hurts how important he has become to her but it is time you dealt with this stupid and unfounded believe that he is using her.
I sometimes think you work for the blogs. Matt may be lots of things (known and unknown) but he is not a publicity whore. He maybe using Rih but it is not for her fame.

“Dark” Rihanna Finally Catches On

The odd spectacular single aside — “Umbrella” comes immediately to mind, and then not much else — Rihanna never really impressed me much. I always found most of her music to be a tad too lightweight and lacking the edge that a pop song needs to grab my attention and not let go.
But what do I know?
Her albums and singles sold by the truckload anyway. In her first three years of chart activity, she racked up 10 Top 10 hits. Some superstars (say, for example, U2) take an entire career to amass half as many.
Unfortunately, her personal life wasn’t quite so charmed, which, if you want to take the lemonade-from-lemons approach, may have given her the creative boost she so desperately needed. Last year after the Chris Brown incident, while everyone was talking about how it would affect her career, I was wondering how it would affect her music.
The freakishly prolific Rihanna didn’t make me wait long for an answer. “Russian Roulette,” the first single from her fourth album, Rated R, may not have demanded repeat listens from me when it was released in October, but it was refreshing to hear the singer going to a darker musical and lyrical place. Still, although Rated R earned Rihanna her best-ever reviews pre-release, I didn’t expect much from it.
Boy did Rihanna defy my low expectations! Rated R is not only the only Rihanna album I’ll admit to loving, it was also one of the best pop albums of 2009, with a trio of stunning songs (”Hard,” the second single, “Fire Bomb” and “Cold Case Love”) surrounded by solid material.
But what do I know?
Neither of the first two singles managed to go higher than No. 8 on Billboard’s Hot 100, while Rated R failed to set the Billboard 200 album chart ablaze, debuting at No. 4, below Susan Boyle and Adam Lambert, the week after its November 23 release last year. And despite its excellent critical notices, I don’t know a single person who actually likes the album.
But it looks like Rated R’s fortunes are about to change. The third single, “Rude Boy,” is shaping up to be its breakout hit. It’s already No. 8 on the Hot 100 after only three weeks, and on the UK singles chart released today, it climbs to No. 2. Meanwhile, the album is inching back towards the U.S. Top 10.
“Rude Boy” may not be one of my Rated R favorites — it’s closer in spirit to her earlier hits than any other song and probably the album’s lightest track — but if that’s what it takes for the public to finally give dark Rihanna a shot, I’m totally on board.

This is a bit short notice!!!
There are a few girls on the forum that knew her before she left Barbados they may be able to help but it is unlikely that they are going to be around now.
You could still try there and see if they answer.
I figure she would have joined the Cadets at 12y yrs she would have entered high school at 11+ and you can’t join before and very few people join after 12years.
The all girl band I can’t even hazard a guess.

It’s great that Matt is introducing Rih to his friends and family. I love it! It would be great if she goes to his game tomorrow and watch him play.. that would be too cute.
It seems like Matt will stick around for a long time… I see longevity in B&B “friendship”, hopefully. =)

She looks great, very fresh and relaxed, less make-up..But I hope she’s just ‘dating’ like she says..She’s 22 and has very little family around her…I think she needs the emotional support of her family, instead of going from relationship to relationship…But it is her life…and she’s truly a fun and entertaining artist!!
