In case you didn’t know, Rihanna has got a book coming out. The Last Girl On Earth will hit the shelves on June 29th, and the cover art has been released. Take a look at it below the product description by Amazon.com. If you haven’t pre-ordered it yet, you should do it now by clicking here.

The official visual chronicle of the year’s “it” girl as she embarks on her first solo tour.

The millions of sites tracking her every fashion move, the innumerable magazine covers including the recent Italian Vogue shot by Steven Klein, her past endorsement deals including Gucci and CoverGirl—Rihanna is the reigning style icon of the moment. She has garnered multiplatinum–selling success as an artist (her current album, her fourth, Rated R had the highest first-week sales of any of her other albums in the U.S. to date), including Grammys, MTV Video Music Awards, and countless other awards for her performances. Creative director Simon Henwood captures the supernova at the height of her beauty and ferocity in hundreds of photographs that track her enormous influence on current trends and interaction with the world of fashion—from her performances in the most cutting-edge couture (such as Gaultier and Chanel, as well as in pieces from museum collections), to her relationships with the unknown but up-and-coming designers she personally champions, to her fashion shoot with Ellen von Unwerth in Berlin for her album artwork.

This is a visually arresting capsule of one of the world’s most talked-about artists of the year.

you’d think it would display her own photo but the fact that it shows only the Rated R symbol gives it more edge i’m itching to read whats inside just by seeing the cover. well done!!

    11. The cover is just so appropriate. Yes, why not. Keep pitching that letter R, symbol R and promoting RATED R.

    17. I honestly find the cover too simple.
      Looks kind-of boring to me.
Other than that, I find it way too expensive anyways.
Hardcover shouldn´t be a reason to make a book way too expensive.
      I like her and all.
I wonder also what the book will have inside.
Hopefully nothing from the subject I totally dislike.

    20. The cover is Ok and I agree with whomever said work with the, “R” symbol as long as she can but, out of all the beautiful pictures she has taken through the years I would like it better if I could actually see more of her face. I think people would gravitate towards it more if it was a big bold face forward shot of her doing one of tyra’s favorite phrases, “Smiling with her eyes” like whatever book that was that had Jennifer Lopez’s face on it. It was beautiful and striking even though she wasn’t smiling with her eyes but it was straight forward. I had to take a second look at it! For the most part though it’s ok.

    21. @ 17. El. Hardcovers are usually higher priced than paperback. Also, consider the page amount~ how thick the book is. It is probably a pretty big book with lots of content and a lot of ~bang for the buck. I,m sure we,d get our money,s worth.

    22. One other thing, we have not seen the back cover. She probably has a beautiful picture of herself for the back.
