Rihanna nominated for two NAACP Image Awards

Rihanna has been nominated in two categories at this year’s NAACP Image Awards:

Outstanding Female Artist

Mary J. Blige (Matriarch/Geffen)
Rihanna (Def Jam)
Whitney Houston (Artista Records)

Outstanding Duo, Group or Collaboration
3 Mo’ Divas (MariMo’ Music Inc.)
The Black Eyed Peas (Interscope Records)
Day26 (Bad Boy Records)
Jay-Z ft. Alicia Keys (Atlantic Records)
Jay-Z ft. Rihanna & Kanye West (Atlantic Records)

Online voting will begin January 21st. The 41st NAACP Image Awards will be held on Friday, February 26, 2010.

Tickets for the 41st NAACP Image Awards will be available for purchase through ticket master and your local branch beginning in early January 2010. Ticket prices will range from $50 to $500. To receive additional information on ticket sales, please send an email to imagetickets@gmail.com.

like madonna
she did a remix album
and put new tracks on it, some unreleased
mariah is doing that now
she has remixes of her old songs and has new unreleased tracks on it also

Rereleasing an album like rated r would just seem like a desperate attempt to pad the sales numbers.

She understood by doing such a personal project that the sales may not be like gggb. I wouldn’t like to see that happen with this particular piece of work.

Rude Boy is getting a lot of play. I heard it for the first time today. Some radio stations even have it listed and I request it when I request Hard. They can plan what singles will be release when, but it will all boil down to which single the public responds best to. In the end, they will go with the single they think will bring in the most paper and another hit.

Yup, I have been a fan since the whole teairra marie(sp) vs. rihanna era. I have always loved this chick but I didn’t become a stan until this yr. The last artist I was crazy about was Brandy and BS when I was in elementary/middle school. But, I have NEVER loved an artist the way that I love Rihanna.
