Rihanna gave some friends a helping hand the other day in the lobby of the Bryant Park Hotel.
“She was with four pals and was helping them all move their bags,” says a spy. “They wouldn’t let her, so she kept jokingly trying to grab the bags out of their hands. It kind of looked like they were playing a friendly game of tug of war.”

"RATED R" CHARTS UPDATE :
Midweek UK projections said they expected Rated R to climb one position to #19 selling a minimum of 48,000 copies this week. UK charts are updated on Sunday.
"Russian Roulette" is expected to fall #8 to #9 in the UK.
"Russian Roulette" remains at #4 in France for the 3rd week in a row.
Rated R falls to #29 in Japan selling almost 6,000 copies bringing her total to 40,000 copies.
Rated R falls from #23 to #27 in Australia.
In Canada it remains at #19 on the charts, sales are steady.
For Those who don't know Russian Roulette sold 203,000 copies worldwide last week, while "Hard" sold 74,000 copies.

Ok so I went to Abu Dhabi from Dubai yesterday morning, A drive that was supposed to take 1.5 hrs ended up taking almost 3 bad traffic and I got lost twice (the navigation in my rental sucked) but I digress. I got to Abu and decided to go straight to the palace hotel.
So I got to the hotel and I was looking around, kinda half scared because I dont have enough money to pay attention in that place and security there is farely tight. I was so relieved to find out my sister and I have a reservation for Wed and Thur night so since she reserved the room I'm sure she got the tix(thank you JESUS!) The staff there was so helpful and friendly so after I got done with my really dumb tourist act and build a repport with a few of the staff I started asking questions about the concert and its arrangements.
So I asked where she would be performing in the resort, so of course the guy gave me a verbal discription so I asked if I could see where and the other lady was like well no and I was like well bummer I wish I could see it and I dont know she was like well alright but just for a minute. So to give you a picture this resort is HUGE in total with all 6 buildings theres like over 200,000 square feet! Theres a main building with two small buildinging flanking each side of the main one and then 2 bigger buildings (not as big as the main one but bigger than the 2 small ones) on each side of those. The area she will be performing is in like a courtyard like area in the middle of the 4 smaller buildings in front of the large one. This area is to die for its right on the water there are 4 pools several decks and bars. So her stage will be facing the water. I was told set up will begin tuesday. Btw, I asked if I could take pictures and she said that was stricktly prohibited!
So as we were leaving that area I asked about the accomodations for her I had read and she confirmed that it was true that she would be staying in a royalty suite but that it would not be modified. By then we were back in the front and the guy told me there was no need to modify it. I was like shes a big star if I owned a hotel i'd make special concessions for her. I said I have never seen a royalty suite but had stayed in a few presidential suites (that was a lie, I worked at hotel in undergrad school and cleaned one lol) anyway he kinda giggled so I said can I see one he said yes just give me an hour or so. I was like cool I'ma look around for a moment.

ok so anyway as I was roaming around waiting for the guy to show me the room I went a few floors up and there was a lounge with quite a few people working in it. I asked the attendant up there what the was and he told me it was the palace lounge. I asked if I could go in and he said no that it was only for guest in certain rooms but that it was closed in preparation of the nye event. So I asked what it was being prepared for. He said that it was being prepared and reserved for Rihanna and her staff (band). So that made me want to see it even more. I asked if I could just peep my head in and he agreed. Now he had a key card scanner plus a fingerprint scanner to even get in. I stepped one foot in and he was like ok thats it. It s was beautiful in there several tables and chairs a private bar, a sofa area and tvs. The attendant also told me that she and her staff will have personal attendants in the lounge and theres also a private kitchen (i didnt see that).
So I went back downstairs and my first little guy that told me I could see the royalty suite was ready. So we went up to one of the royalty suites and he was right there is no need to modify it! but first once again to even get to that floor you had to have a keycard and be fingerprint scanned!!! Anyway went into the suite OMG if I had died there I would have died happy. The suite she will be staying in the royal khaleej suite (one of them anyway, apparently not the one I saw) . The suite is over 10,000 sq ft. has 5 bedrooms with a mastersuite on the upperlevel 4 bathrooms. 52 in lcd tv in each bedroom. 61 inc in each of the 4 common areas. Her suite will come with not one but two personal butlers. Its equipped with laptops a private balcony on the main level and a private terrace on the master suite level. I was not allowed upstairs. The whole suite is state of the art.
Y'all this woman will be treated like the royalty she truely is!!
Sorry that was so long but I didnt want to leave anything out…..and no there will be no camaras allowed except for media and production staff. I was told if you try to sneak it you could be not only be removed from the concert but also jailed. So I wont be needing my camara I guess.

Rihanna is a slow starter. I also remember ppl when ppl were freaking out on here. LOL. I was like, chill. Artist who sell 300K first week sometimes don't go on to sell millions of copies. Albums are all about longevity. You know, ppl will still be saying this album isn't doing well despite the facts that show otherwise. Some just really don't won't her to do well.

@89. vivienne umm I doubt it. They told me lots of stuff about the accomodations but were super tighted lipped where it concerned Rihanna and her staff directly. I'm sure theres some kind of confidentiality clause in her contract.

Lu as far as the concert is concerned theres no camaras permitted outside of the media and production staff and here its illegal to photograph someone without asking there permission first. So if I am blessed enough to see her I will ask for pic for sure I just hope I dont forget and start snappin and get myself arrested…lol
