Rihanna performed yesterday during a snowstorm at Rockefeller Center for a pre-taping of NBC’s New Year’s Eve with Carson Daly show. Thank you to everyone who sent us their pictures! They will be added shortly to our gallery!
FANS EXPERIENCE:
I was present for the Carson Daly New Year’s Eve Concert that was in Rockefeller Center today in New York. I thought that the Mini Concert was Awesome. She gave us a Outstanding Performance. She Performed “Wait You Turn”, “Hard” and then two Duets with Specail Performer Jay-Z “Run This Town” & “Umbrella”. Which by the way brought us back to the Summer of ’09 & ’07, Great Feeling with 2 Classic Hits. She had perfomed each song twice and made sure the audience connected with her when She performed. Sidenote, I’m a Big Rihanna fan but waiting 3 hours in the Cold aka “Blizzard” in New York was not My Ideal thought. Plus, I was kind of Upset that She didn’t thank Her fans for waiting for Her in the Blizzard. But anywhooo, She did an Awesome Job and made Me wanting more.

It was Really damn cold and many people were complaining of the cold, anyways we waited for the bands sound check. Rihanna looked beautiful, Jay Z was also there. She did Wait your turn, Hard, Run this town, and Umbrella, each song twice. It was a great show but was very cold. After each songs Rihanna will put on her coat and warm her hands up before the next.

Rihanna has a devoted fan base. It was an outdoor event with bone chilling temperatures. It was wet & snowy, the blizzard wouldn’t hold up in NYC. Rihanna looked absolutely gorgeous. She had on a black lacey bustier, grey slacks, and a cropped white fur piece and black arm length gloves. Her top hat was dope, it was decorated with flowers and and a mesh material. She sung 3 songs, 2 times each. “Wait Your Turn,†“Hard,†and “Umbrella.†There was a special performance from Jay-Z “Run This Town.†The crowd went wild when Hova came on stage. On stage her staff made sure she kept warm during breaks. She had a lot of energy and looked stunning. She waved and showed her fans plenty of love. It was great!

WOW thats all i can say. She was just AMAZING. It was snowing so hard and she still gave it her all in the snow and in the cold. Jay Z performed with her, that was a great surprise. And wen i was looking around Beyonce was behind me and she said hi to me. I was soooo happy. She was trying to hide in the back but i still saw her she looked beautiful to. And the most exciting thing was that when Rihanna finished performing she was walking to go to the building she game me her hand and said hi to me. That just made my dayy ;) I just love Rihanna and cant wait to see her perform again soon. Oh and thank you sooooo much for telling all of us the link for the website that gives the ticket away. If it wasnt for u i wouldnt have had the best time of my life.

Hey Rihanna, leave that snow behind and come back to L.A. today. It's 75 degrees here. You have Conan on tuesday, relax and get some sun. And please, don't sing RR, do "Hard", or maybe "G4L". RR, IMO, is one of the weaker songs on the album. But "Hard", "G4L", "Photographs", "Rockstar", and "Rude Boy" kick azz. Please, pretty please?

I still cant beleive she performed in that cold. Rih hates the cold she comes from a contry where the temp never drops below 65 degrees (18c)

It's great to know that things went well…although the conditions weren't pleasant.

why is it surprising that Beyonce was there? Her husband was there performing!! lol!! Of course she likes Rihanna – her husband is heavily invested in Rihanna not just personally. I would like to see all three of them interact though it would be interesting!!! :)

I was there. It was a total nightmare. A big f u from
Carson daily and 1iota who had us standing in the cold waiting Luke cattle for nearly 3 hours while they tinkered with
sound, lights. Then we r bearded to stage, and we are 30 feet away behind the equipment and they are sound checking! She's not even dressed yet. The worst is that no one thanked us or gave us any encouragement.
I felt sub human. Lady gaga bought pizza for all her fans who had to waitt in the cold, all I needed was a "guys you are amazing for hanging outside..,' didn't get it.

I was there. I'm a huge Rihanna fan. I waited for hours outside, and was very disappointed with how they treated us. The show's producers took their damn time. They never once spoke to us, gave us encouragement, nothing. By the end I was in PAIN.. three hours and they are still doing sound check. We were 30 feet behind the stage and equipment. I was about to cry. Riri sounded amazing during the sound check – but I couldn't see her behind the camera crane. I just left – toes frozen solid… Ugg.

Brrr was not the word, I was outside from 4pm in that brick cold weather. It was beyond cold, I lost all feeling in my whole body, my fingers were blue. All because I wanted to see Rihanna perform, it felt like below zero, and it was a major blizzard going on out there. The show didn't really start til about 7:45 and ended at 8:30 pm. Everyone ran outta there, or at least tried because we were frozen. She looked amazing, how she was performing in a corsette I don't know. The plus was to see jay-z perform along side her on run this town and umbrella, thats' when the warmth started to kick in our bodies. Althought she smiled and wave, she didn't tell us her appreciation for being out there that long, it was pretty serious. I still love her tho!

Yes B was there. And she was dancing like she was doing a video when Jay and Rihanna performed Run This Town and Umbrella the second time lol. I'm shocked she wasn't snapped by the paparazzi. Guess the paps aren't that good if they didn't know B was on the premises. P.S. She looks way better in person. TV doesn't do her justice. On another note. Our girl ran through our town and shut it down lol. I can't til she goes on tour in the States.
