Last night, Rihanna stopped by Fuse’s studio to tape an episode of ‘On the Record’ with host Toure’ to air on Thursday, November 26th at 6pm EST. Click the image to view the pictures.
The only constructive critiscism I will give is that she needs to work on her pitch when hitting the high notes. But, other than that I loved the performances.
SHE KILLED IT ON GMA! To all the people that knocked her AMA performance kick rocks! She can sing live (I know this and my fellow Ri Ri Stans already know this but to everyone else that disagrees get with the program!) She did a FANTASTIC job on Russian Roulette and she peformed Wait your Turn, and Umbrellla…….ella, ella, eh, eh.
OH, I saw Tamara near the front the camera got an up close shot of her…..LUCKY GIRL!!!!

Did I see the ladies that always get lucky enough to meet her all the time in the crowd? I think Tamara and Janise(sp)?
But yeah she sound great and I would love to have those shoes. I dont think she needs to hop around like beyonce but I think it would be helpful to her show to add some chorogrophy to the act.

Constructive criticism/question? Why does Rihanna insist on singing an extended version of The Wait Is Over ? It's definitely a good intro, but it needs to be shortened so she can perform other single worthy tracks on RR.
I LOVE THE FACT THAT RIHANNA IS INTO FASHION BUT NOW I THINK ITS BECOMING A BIT DISTRACTING FROM THE TALENT

@lawgirl i dont think rihana will get that #1 reports came out that Susan boyle will do over 500k and top billiobard i knew she would only beacues she benn breakin per sale records for weeks now
WYT is one of the strongest tracks on Rated R imo. Hard is not a GMA friendly song, and judging by the AMA, she can't do it well live with the current band arrangement. My constructive criticism is that I don't know why her people are insisting on her being on the stage with no choreography and no dancers. They won't get people to see her tour with that b/c she is a popstar and people aren't going to come see her just sing and stand there. She is not a Celine Dion type of artist. BUT, I think she did really great and her up there by herself worked for this event.
@ 16 there is no problem with Wait your turn that is a true Caribbean song there the chant and dub beats are amazing . Now people wanted her to go back to her roots and she did thats the bajan there.

You know although rihanna did very well on today. Her own fans are still finding faults and everything . I dont know why u guys have to look for every major or minor thing to critique on.
She did a very good job just now, and I said to myself, she should have done RR for the AMA's. Anyhow, she will improve as she goes along. I also hope she tries to improve on her dancing. She used to dance when she first came on the scene.

I just want Rihanna in the top 3. Susan Boyle will definitely take the top spot but she won't last well into 2010, Rihanna will. Her album is a masterpiece and not just a cd full of covers. She needs to start working on a vid for Hard because that is climbing the charts with no promotion, so just imagine the number it will be with a vid. And, I really hope Firebomb is the third single.
There is nothing wrong with giving construtive critiscism to your favorite artist. If you don't know what you are doing wrong, you will never improve. If Rihanna came on this board and read a bunch of positive reviews with nobody pointing out things she needs to work on, she will never get better or grow as an performer. Dang, it's like you can't say anything. You might as well not have an opinion.
I recorded GMA, so I'll catch it later. Glad to hear she did her thing.

I agree, artists need constructive criticism. They are not perfect and can always improve. I can always tell the artists who have a lot of "yes" people around them.
@TakeABow, I have seen it, so I know she can put on a great show, but I feel like her "thing" this era is to just come out by herself with no choreography and someone needs to let her know that is NOT going to work. She should have already had choreography to WYT and Hard down and we have seen she doesn't. Anyways, good news: Hard is now top 20 on Rhythmic/ top 15 on Urban and/ top 50 on Pop. It just got released to Pop today.

Especially saying the wait is over, they need to feel like it's really over after watching her perform. Nobody is finding fault. Stop whining!
