On Metacritic, a renowned website that collates music reviews, Rihanna’s ‘Rated R’ is awarded a promising 76/100! I think we can state with certainty that ‘Rated R’ is on its way to become a critically acclaimed record. This is also a huge thing for Rihanna regarding the extent to which she has been involved in putting this album together. The Metascore for ‘Rated R’ will most likely keep rising. With an incredibly positive review, the LA Times gave it a whopping 4 out of 4 stars!
Congratulations to team Rihanna!

I must say I love "Rated R" . Its has to be the best Rihanna album thus far. I don't see what all the fuss is about Mr. Gaga and Susan Boyle being #1 today. I can guarantee you that won't last. Rihanna has a better body of work. When all is said and done she will outsell them. I am not worried. What I am pissed about is the fact that I pre-ordered 3 albums since November 5 and I still have not received my albums. I guess I will just have to continue to listen to the songs on youtube until they arrive. They are scheduled for delivery between November 30- Decemer 2. I will never pre-order anything from Amazon.com again. Please purchase your copy of Rated R its a really,really good album.

Susan Boyle is now predicted to sell at least 500,000 albums in her first week, maybe more. Hopefully Rihanna will be #2 but I don't think now Rihanna will be able to beat Susan.As long as ri ri has longivity on the charts thats what starts adding up over the course of a year.

Forget what ya heard, when the rubber hits the road it is, like I said, you come to the dance and intend to leave with SOMETHING. It could be monster sales/money or critical acclaim/artistic growth….but you damn sure betta have something to show for your efforts. The masterstroke is to get both critical acclaim and good sales or even respectable sales, of course, and I hope she does. But for right now, I am just happy that she put out a bold, masterpiece of a CD. A few years ago, I never thought Rihanna would be putting out a CD as strong as this one. I live in Barbados I had pre -ordered but it will take two weeks to get here and I ordered it at the store but they will not get it until Dec 5. I cant cet it at 3.99 its for us customers only so I had to get it from I tunes at full price.

I am not tripping about itunes, coz I knew that it is actually muvh bigger for singles sales than for album sales, but as I am spanish I didn’t know that for sure.
anyway It is at #4 there so its not that bad and its #1 in amazon….
so I dont know what to think…. anyway ‘hard’ is already top40 but RR is already going down fast… so I dont know how are people in america reacting to her album.
anyway I believe rihanna’s hope in sales and charts are in the UK with this album, and the X factor performance this sunday will boost both the album and RR single sales.
By the way here in Spain RR is at #4 and the album is #17 even if its not released here yet!!!
