I already can’t wait for any future “Rated R” re-released that will have this song included! Did Nokia say there was going to be 1 or 2 bonus tracks on the album if it was bought from them?
If you remember peoples reaction to 'RR' when they were expecting a club-banger to be the first song from Rated R, they completely freaked out…
Imagine if she had leaked 'Hole in the Head', the next day, pmsl it would have caused public outrage….
Although its a HOT song, it would be criminal to replace any song from 'Rated R' with it, cos the album is amazing as it is!!!!

im lovin this song and cant hait for the album. i want the hard explicit copy in my hands like now! i want rihanna to have the #1 spot on the billboard albums chart but just because you go #1 doesn't mean you cant flop. i'd rather rihanna have another successful album than to be "hot" at the moment or need to go #1 to prove to these haters that she is a valueable asset to this game. as we all know GGGB was on the charts for more than a year and that says a lot.

rihanna is doing really well internationally she will surpass gaga but the US is a different story, that's why there is alot of marketing done internationally…. I haven't seen any promotions on tv in the US yet

I hope this is a bonus track!!! It would be perfect! Great, great track. I see Timberlake "gets" Rihanna, as does Neyo. In addition to new producers, she should continue to work with people who understand and challenge her, and Timberlake & NeYo really did challenge her on this CD (and she met the challenge with ease).
I don't care to compare Rihanna to other artists, just as long as Rated R surpasses the first week sales of GGGB!! Because let's face it, musically, Rated R surpasses what's on the charts right now. As one review said, Rihanna can no longer be called a "singles artist". She has become a real artist.

I will be at the AMA's sunday and will guage the crowd response to her.
But i think Rihanna made a serious mistake in the direction of her new album timing wise. Rihanna has primarilly a female base, meaning females will mostly buy her albums. I am a male straight out of college who likes Rihanna mostly for her looks (she has always been hot to me) but i also like many of her songs, but i don't buy them, i listen on youtube, mtv, etc. Rihanna has been giving interviews ad nauseum, including the big one (20/20). It's fresh on everyone's mind that she had the crap beaten out of her. This is why i think she should have returned to her early style singing upbeat dance music with a caribbean flair. Songs like "We Ride" 'Happy" etc IMO would have brought most of her fans back and gained new ones. I think this album should have been more urban/r&b/hip hop rather than a darkish, popish sound. Most of Rihanna's diehard fans are white suburbanites who are not into topless (albeit covered) photos and promotion shots with gun tattoos and devil horns especially coming out of a relationship of domestic abuse. As a young male i find the pics sexy as hell (no pun intended), but i'm not one to buy her records. Rihanna is not urban enough like Beyonce, Rihanna has a more international sound. Here in the U.S, Rihanna does have a more difficult task of selling herself and her music. The young, screaming "Twilight" girls, the ones who have bought her records in the past, have many other choices now. Males like myself can give Rihanna plenty of attention but not thru record sales. What Rihanna is doing with this new album is closing the window (here in the U.S.) on her actual record buying fans by becoming too extreme. "Russian Roulette" IS NOT the song she should have released at the outset given the fact the 20/20 interview is fresh on everyone's mind. If you go to youtube and watch her older songs, many of her fans comment that they wished she still sounded like this. I understand artists need to grow and expand, but at this time in her life, where everyone heard her state she basically left Chris because her career was more important than him (i agree), and that young girls looked up to her……why market this new album with sexy pics and wonder if she's a devil worshiper? ( i find that hilarious, but many people believe that crap about her), The new album IMO should have been closer to "Music of the Sun". As far as Lady GaGa, well, she will wear off soon. What Rihanna SHOULD do is look for some movie project. A role similar to Thandie Newton in Mission Impossible 2. Now THAT's where Rihanna will get my money. Rihanna will light up the screen and my life even more.

Great song. Mr. Timberlake is on fire with Rihanna right now. This and Cold Case Love are easily the best tracks I've heard from her in awhile. Moral of the story? More JT on the next album RiRi.

@1sctrojan, I hear what you are saying about her image, but I have to say in the long run it would not have been beneficial for her to come out singing happy and upbeat songs. Rihanna had a very public horrific event happen to her that the media dissected for months and months. It would not ring true and authentic if she came back out smiling and talking about being in love. The public may have eaten it up for this album and she may have gotten a few more hits, but I would bet that her next album would really suffer for it. No one would take her seriously. I was hoping this album was going to be dark and angry, because that had to be the place she was in when she was making it, Yes, Rihanna is a pop star, but I think all musicians should strive to be true to their art, and if this is how Rihanna is feeling, so be it. It may turn off people in the short term, but everyone can always look at this album for when Rihanna came into her own.
