Ruben has scanned for us the booklet from Rihanna’s latest album! Check out the gallery if you want to see it already or do not enter it if you wish to be surprised when you buy your own copy! Or view it now and act shocked when you will buy it… but anyway enjoy! Tell us what’s your thoughts?
Personaly I love the concept of this photoshoot (especially the picture with dolls) however I don’t feel it’s necessery to stand naked in every pic. I know it’s quite common for Ellen Von Unwerth but still… I wish to see some of pics in white fur ;-) Hopefully the whole “Rated R” photoshoot will be released in HQ. It would be a waste to just tease us with this booklet.

I like most of the artwork they are bold, confident, but it's gotten to the point like Rihanna we have seen it all, we get it, you are fearless, bold, e.t.c, but there are so many kinds of sexy, but this is becoming rather ho-ish, I ean the shot were it's just her Backside, it's like Ok. the only plus side I can see about the album artwork, it sends a clear message, that rihanna's music is now pretty much mostly for the 18 and up strictly.

Rihanna is sexy. The sem-nude pictures don't bother me at all. If this was a dude standing around half-naked in his album shots, nobody would be saying, 'OMG!!!!!!!!!! Please, cover up. You are showing too much.' Who the fuck cares? The way some picture react to nudity is crazy. She has a vay jay jay and breast. Every woman has them, this is not new. Get over it. She can't show us anything we haven't seen already. So, I support her all the way.

I like the concept, this “Rated R†album so photos should be Rated R but the way they expressed it is just way too easy for me. Nudity isn’t the only way to show that something is rated r. I expected something more creative, more artistic and less obvious.

I love all the photos. Yes, this is Ellen Von Unwerth work and I think if I'm not mistaken Rihanna said she was inspired by Helmut Newton as well. These aren't just naked pictures or half naked pictures at that, a lot of these pictures have symbolism in them and are greatly inspired. That's why I'm so in love with these pictures. I love it when an artist pays attention to the little details. I hardly ever notice the nudity until someone else mentions it LOL

I like it, the only pic i dont like is the horns pic, but other than that I like it. What I got from it was her concept for the album. Remember the name of the album is Rated R which to me means that she combined two types of Rated R movies-both horror flims and movies with sexual content to make her album booklet, so with this in mind it does not bother me at all, because RiRi got into character for her movie: Rated R(Rihanna) A booklet is not going to stop me from buying my favorite singer's album.

That's what I was saying. Nudity doesn't bother me that's why I barely even noticed it. It wasn't until everybody was talking about it that I went back and took a second look. And, I still don't see what the big deal it. Being someone who loves and study photography and art, I can appreciate where she was going with these shots. It will be hard for some to get because people don't know how to look deeper than the surface to find the true meaning of something.

RIhanna is mocking what people have said about her and the nude photos that released. The Horns represents the bloggers stating she had hors growing out of her head when the tmz pictures surfaced….

but i juz hope there will be more pic where she is naked..i know its art but i would love to see she cover up more too coz i think she's so beautiful and very edgy she doesnt need to be naked to make the pic more art-worthy..i juz think she will nail it even clothes all over her body covering her shape..but like you, i wish the lyrics were included..lol..

I would have never thought of it towards the whole TMZ picture that was leaked. I now have a new view on the pic: and that's how I'm going to look at it from now on!!!, and it goes hand in hand with what you say, I think you answered a lot of people's questions on why she had horns, though I never thought of it as demonic, like some people r assumeing.

I too think that some of the photos are mocking all of the foolishness that has been said about Rih over the past nine months. i.e. the photo of her holding a camera topless and the horns one. Rihanna is really making a statement with this entire project.

yes, actually the entire cover and inside photos seemed like she was both mocking everything said about her and owning it and throwing it back in people's faces.
Notice how that one photo of her holding the camera looks familiar? It's because it's designed to look like the leak photo where she's taking a pic in mirror. This time, however, Rihanna's taking a pic of US, the viewers. She is saying 'what is the problem people? You loved seeing my naked pictures when they weren't supposed to be for your eyes and you knew they weren't, But when I control my own pictures and am not being taken advantage of, you all suddenly think it's bad? So looking at me nude is cool if I'm the victim (of pics leaking) but not when I am in control?" She's calling out folks as hypocrites. Even the cover shot has her covering her eye and pouting. This whole project is about her owning what happened to her in her own way. that is why I find it so fearless

WELL RIHANNA'S MUSIC IS FOR ADULTS 18 AND UP NOW. IF YOU ARE YOUNGER YOU ARE NOT GONNA UNDERSTAND. CHRISTINA AGUILERA DID IT BACK IN '02. TRYING TO GET RID OF THE KIDS THAT WERE LISTENING TO HER MUSIC. SHE WANTED TO BE SEEN AS AN ADULT. THIS IS WHAT RIHANNA IS DOING. THERE ARE A LOT OF KIDS/TEENS THAT LISTEN TO HER MUSIC. I don't even know if the booklet lets you know anything about her past months but I feel that Def Jam or whoever she's under contract with right now is trying to capitalize on nudity. Don't get me wrong I think she's quite hot and everything but if you look at how she went from Pon de Replay to Umbrella – constantly topping the charts the last years – and how there has hardly been any news in the past months I believe this is mostly a push to get her back into business.
Also I don't like how they release two or three singles off of the album at once. I believe they barely made it into the Billboard Top 100.

I agree with your interpretations and I know every picture probably have some hidden message behind it but I still think that there is no reason for Rihanna to be half-naked in almost every picture. I think that some type of nudity should be in this project but shouldn’t be the main focus of the project. Generally I don’t think this photo shoot is bad but I just think it could be better and less predictable.
