“Russian Roulette”, the first single from Rihanna’s upcming album, has fallen from #9 to #16 on Billboard Hot 100 this week. It’s still not that bad, today the song climbed from #9 to #8 on iTunes, and the video is currently #2. We have to keep supporting Rihanna: buy the song and the video on iTunes, and request the song in all the radio stations that we can!
“Hard” debuted on Bubbling Under at #3 (which means #103 on Billboard Hot 100).
On Billboard R&B 100, “Russian Roulette” has fallen from #56 to #73 and “Hard” has climbed from #41 to #20.
In other news, the “Wait Your Turn” music video is #5 on iTunes!
Don’t forget: buy the songs and the videos on iTunes and request the songs on the radio stations!

…let's keep requesting y'all !!!!!!

Good post! Honestly Rhythmic and Urban and even Pop have jumped on Hard. RR was still a top 10 hit and it looks like people would rather see Rihanna happy instead of sad and possibly dead with that gunshot at the end lol. RR did what it needed to: got people talking, got people interested in her album and she will probably get a grammy nom for best Pop Vocal. It made the critics take her more seriously, which is very important when you are trying to establish a great career. It will be a worldwide hit either way. Hard has the potential to go number 1, for real.

Yall know what, i believe "hard" will be #1, the week after the album is out (when the album debuts).
Bc next week, it will probably jump to #80 or something and then the album will be available on iTunes and automatically "Hard" will and by thta time airplay will be huge + huge digital sales and it will probably debut at #1.
I think, thats why they released "hard" so early bc they know RR wouldnt go to #1 anyways (not trying to be negative but just saying how it is as of now).
Id be great if the album and the single would be #1 at the same time.-
*Sorry for multi-comments

DEAD@ ME: Not DEBUT at #1 but jump to #1. Sorry guys

I thought RR would drop much worse than this, to be honest lol. I thought perhaps the 30s or something.
It's a tough sell for radio, though, we all knew that. And it was especially a tough lead single. It will be one of the most memorable songs to come along in pop in quite a while. A classic.

@MARSH
You can go on the forums to request. They have an entire thread with the links to radio stations. Just click each one and request as many times as you can.

guys we gotta step our game up. we are not doing our jobs as fans when requesting the song. Empire State Of Mind is number one and got a radio audience of 103 million last week. russian roulette got about 32 million. We have to get the numbers to request the song 3X as much. we also have to request the video on tv. we ALL have a job to do we can all do more. Rihannas album comes out in four days so we have to make her comeback single that she holds so close to her heart #1. please guys request and download this is such an important week.

Good news for HARD! On Urban charts it jumped 34 to 17 (RR is at 35) and on Rhythmic it jumped 40 to 27 (RR is ay 28) On both these charts, HARD is the biggest gainer. Even on the Pop charts where it hasn’t even been sent yet, HARD jumped 69 to 57 (RR is 22). HARD is doing very well right now :) RR was more of an event single and I don’t think most people wanted to hear Rihanna sing about that topic while the picture of her face was still fresh. Most people don’t get the metaphor, so it just seemed violent and likely made a lot of people uncomfortable.
