I think the storyline of the video is weird. In the song itself, you can understand that she is vulnerable, scared, confused and sad. But at the video, it proves the opposite. Rihanna survives every difficulties and ways to kill her (The tiger which resembles the strength, THE CAR, I think everybody knows what special event it resembles to. The water and the gas, which is the media chaos that was around her, she felt like she couldn't breathe and everybody is trying to bring her down) and her partner dies. I think the video is a message to us that Rihanna is stronger than ever, but it doesn't match the song that much. Well, still a great video.

Love the video. Wouldn't say it is her best though. I guess I agree with the ones who say 'Umbrella' is the best. And I say that because that's the biggest record she's had EVER, and it was at the time when her whole demeanor changed and caught everyone's attention, like MOTHAFUCKAS LOOK AT ME!
'Russian Roulette' I wouldn't say is epic, a little awkward and really dark. But I agree this should be a movie INSTEAD.
And I agree with TK-75523. EVERYONE copies someone. Music today is not as rich in quality back then and no one is really original anymore.

I've never liked BEP that much, and I'm still mad at Def Jam for leaving Demo version of Te Amo. Why make it slow when it can be production masterpiece with flourish beats. I'm so disappointed about Te Amo. I don't feel stupid in love AT ALL.
I also feel Slash should have his solo part.
But overall, this is an amazing album, maybe even better than Good Girl Gone Bad.

I didn't get that "I like this song already" feeling with most of the songs. & Im pissed that they just left Te Amo as is. There is a photo on media take out with Beyonce and two men behind her, and the critics are saying that she is copying Ri, and that she looks like her in the photo. Yeah, Jessica you are so right. Beyonce invented the color blonde and no woman on the planet ever wore it before her. And, anybody that has the color blonde in their hair is just trying to copy Bey. I love Rihanna but I don’t agree with her promoting more violence in her video. It’s a little creepy and I dont really understand the concept as well. She could have denounced the rumors about the song being about suicide, but she didn’t for someone died at the end. (I believe it was the guy) Plus there was alot of blood. Also what happened to the gunshot, I watch a video that had the gun shot..
Anyways she look beautiful. I just wish it could have had a more positive spin but yet still somber at the same time. But its an alright video none the less! :0
