- 5:50PM (NYC time): Julie Chang, a reporter for Fox 5 New York, updated her Twitter with the following message: At the VMAs, Rihanna just walked by. We don’t know if it’s true or not, we will know in the next hours.
- 6:20PM (NYC time):Â More people on Twitter are saying that Rihanna is really there. She may do something special, there’s no reason for her to arrive so early. Let’s wait and see!
- 6:30PM (NYC time): Click here to watch the red carpet live.
- 7:00PM (NYC time): The awards shows will start in 2 hours! If you don’t have MTV, you can watch it live here.
- 7:55PM (NYC time): The celebrities are already walking the red carpet, there’s no sign of Rihanna yet.
- 8:15PM (NYC time): The awards show will start in 45 minutes! As usual, Rihanna is one of the latest to walk the red carpet – don’t forget that she may not walk the red carpet, like she did at the 2008 MTV Movie Awards.
- 8:30PM (NYC time): The fans are screaming Rihanna’s name all the time. Still no sign of her!
- 8:50PM (NYC time): No sign of Rihanna…

Maybe CB is going. If that is the case it would make sense for one of them to get there early and be seated before the other one gets there. It would make it easy to control the situation.

i am just hoping rihanna didnt back out of the VMAs…at least walking the red carpet, because she got flashbacks of last year's VMA's. yes, i am going to go there. she is human and in last year's VMA she was with her boo I am sure having an amazing time and got to perform TWICE. so maybe she didnt feel like going to this year's VMA because it was too much thinking about how things have change. again, she is human. she does reminisce and think back about the good ole days with her ex.
