More about this year’s VMAs

Since MTV confirmed Jay-Z’s performance at this year’s VMAs, all the Rihanna fans thought she would join him on stage to perform “Run This Town”. Well, maybe not: Alicia Keys will join Jay-Z on stage to perform their collaboration â€œEmpire State of Mindâ€.

And Rihanna did not appear on the list of artists that will attend the awards show.

Anyway, be sure to watch the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards live from New York City this Sunday, September 13 at 9PM ET. Hopefully RiRi will surprise us. And as usual, Rihanna Daily will have live coverage if Rihanna attend.

He would not perform run this town at the vma's and then perform it the following night on Jay Leno. Jay Leno need the exclusive with Rihanna's first performance since her incident. This is the first episode of Jay Leno's new show. Leno is looking for ratings. To get rihanna is big for the 1st show. if Rihanna performs at the vma's it would kill the suspense

I hope she attends this years vma's because I want her to perform run this town and I want her to win best legs. well we'll know if she will be there if she comes to ny this week and paps take pics of her. I don't care that much about the divas show because she could be there next year. but I want to see her at new york fashion week, vma's and the Jay z Benefit concert well I sure she has to be in ny this week because jay z had to invite rihanna to the concert he had too because he said he'll be doing songs from the new album so she has to be in ny this week.

Very true Malcolm. If Jay Leno has the exclusive rights to the first televised RTT performance, there will be no performance on the VMAs. Rih still might attend the awards however.

"Run this Town" is' using lots of explitive lyrics .. this is hard to perform on a mainstream show like VMA's cause it's one of the international shows .. you wanna here the beeps so bad !! ..

good…i dont like run this town…she sound not so good on that song…the song wit a keys will do well…the song is about new york…n the awards are back in new york…it makes perfect sense…but i do think rihanna needs to start coming back to awards shows…i think shes still scared of what the press may say to her…but fuck em…she needs to start promoting the album…
