Ne-Yo talks about Rihanna’s upcoming album

As we posted, Ne-Yo is working with Rihanna on her upcoming album. In a live chat today, he talked about the album:

They (the songs) are coming out fantastic. I did two real bangers for her yesterday. So look out for her soon.
She (Rihanna) is not going completely rock on her next album but in a different direction!

Thank goodness she is not going all rock. Her "rock" singles on GGGB didn't even really chart well. SUAD is catchy, but didn't chart high. Neither did IINSYFA.

I just hope she makes sure to include some ISLAND FLAVOR on a jam for the club.

I can't wait I hope there is a slow kind of rock and pop song like what kelly clackson's behind these hazel eyes, or Katy Parry think of you. something like that.

But want Rock/Pop/Dance/and Reggae. Not so much R&B and I want to see rihanan do more dancing in her music videos and don't make it too sexy.

I hope she has a mixture of hip-hop, r&b, pop, dance, reggae songs on this album. She's working with a lot of folks like Soulja Boy, Sean Kingston, Pharrell, Kanye West, and others. So hopefully it's great dance and pop, but with some more r&b, hip hop influences.
