Once spotted canoodling at KFC, singer Rihanna and her “good friend” Chris Brown chose an upmarket location to be seen at while in Brisbane.

Local music fans reportedly spotted the duo, who have consistently denied being romantically involved, shopping at Louis Vuitton after arriving on Thursday. Yesterday the Umbrella singer attracted a huge crowd in the Queen Street Mall while out shoe shopping. An Aldo saleswoman said the singer, who was not accompanied by Brown on the shopping trip, bought a pair of suede sandals.

The pair kicked off their Australian tour by playing the Brisbane Entertainment Centre last night. They will perform again at the centre tonight, before heading to Adelaide tomorrow for a gig on Monday.

Apparently Rihanna’s third studio album GGGB is being re-released-re-reloaded re-released once again in Europe by means of a Deluxe Edition 2-disc set comprising the 16-track album plus a bonus DVD including behind the scenes documentary footage, and live performances from her sold-out tour. There’s supposedly nothing new on this edition, no bonus tracks or anything. We assume the DVD is nothing more than the GGGB Live DVD from Manchester that got released earlier this year.

The reissue is available for purchase on November 17.

The chart-topping singer Leona Lewis was all smiles after filming the ITV special Divas II last night, with the Sugababes, Anastasia and Dionne Warwick.

And she seemed to be as down-to-earth as ever, stopping to meet fans and sign autographs.

Leona, who was kitted out in cosy clothing, is also joined by Rihanna, Pink and Gabriella Cilmi on the show.

An insider who saw the programme being filmed said: “It was an electric atmosphere with some amazing performances and it was quite emotional too.”

Divas II is due to air on Sunday, November 23.

Michelle Williams (from Destiny’s Child) is the next celebrity who has decided to cover another Rihanna’s song. She sang her very own version of “Don’t Stop The Music” recently for Yahoo! Music.
